All Project Zomboid Cheats and Console Commands

Here are some commands to use!

If you are running a server for Project Zomboid, you will eventually need to use Admin Commands. Admin commands allow you to ban, whitelist, spawn items, and even teleport players. That said, there are a ton of commands Admins on servers can use. Here are all commands that admins can use on a Project Zomboid Server.

All Project Zomboid General Admin Commands

The following are all general commands that Admins can use on Project Zomboid servers. To use General commands, open the chat and type / followed by the command you wish to use.

  • Command Name: godmode
    • How to use: To use the godmode command, you must type /godmode and then a username. The end result should look like the following: /godmode username.
  • Command Name: addxp
    • How to use: To use the addxp command, you must type /addxp followed by the username and the name of the skill, and the amount of XP. The end result should look like the following command line: /addxp username skillname=amountofxp.
  • Command Name: invisible
    • How to use: To use the invisible command players must type /invisible username.
  • Command Name: noclip
    • How to use: To use the noclip command, players must type /noclip username.

  • Command Name: teleportto
    • How to use: Players can use the teleportto command to teleport to a specific spot on the map. To use the command type /teleportto followed by the x coordinates, y coordinates, and z coordinates.
  • Command Name: teleport
    • How to use: There are two variations of the teleport command. One usage is /teleport toUser which teleports the Admin to a user. Another usage is /teleport user toUser, which teleports one player to another.
  • Command Name: additem
    • How to use: To use the additem command, type /additem followed by the username and the item code for the item and the amount of it. The end result should look like the following command line: /additem username item amount.
  • Command Name: addvehicle
    • How to use: To use the add vehicle command in Project Zomboid, you need to set it up similar to the additem command. In short, type /addvehicle followed by the type of vehicle and then username/coordinates. The end result will look like the following: /addvehicle vehiclename username/coordinates.
  • Command Name: help
    • How to use: Type /help into chat for a list of command options to use the help command.
  • Command Name: releasessafehouse
    • How to Use: Type /releasesafehouse to release any safehouse that you currently own to use this command.
  • Command Name: replay
    • How to use: Type /replay followed by a player's name and -record,-play,-stop, and then the file name to record a moving player on your Project Zomboid server. The end result should look like the following: /replay username -record random user adventure. Typing -record will start a recording of a moving player, -play will play a recording of a moving player, and -stop will stop a recording from playing and recording.

All Project Zomboid Admin Moderation Commands

These commands are the commands you will want to use when you have to ban, mute, or give certain users Admin privileges.

  • Command Name: setacesslevel
    • How to use: To use the setacesslevel command you must type /setacesslevel followed by the user's name and the level of acess. For example, if you want to give a user admin you must type the following: /setacesslevel coolusername admin.
  • Command Name: addusertowhitelist
    • How to use: To use this command type /addustertowhitelist, doing so will add a user with an already created account to the server whitelist. If you want to add a user with no account you must type /adduser followed by username and password. If you want to remove a user from the whitelist, type /removeuserfromwhitelist followed by user name.
  • Command Name: All Ban Commands
    • How to use: If you want to ban users off your server, you must either ban them based on IP or SteamID. To ban a user using SteamID, you must type /bandid and then the user's SteamID64. To ban a user using their IP, you must type /banuser username -ip -r and then the reason for the ban.
      • How to unban users: To unban a user after you banned them, you must type /unbanid SteamID64 or /unbanuser username.
  • Command Name: voiceban
    • How to use: To use the voiceban command, players must type /voiceban followed by username.
  • Command Name: kickuser
    • How to use: To use the kickuser command you must type /kickuser username -r followed by the reason for the kick.
  • Command Name: grantadmin
    • How to use: To give yourself or another user admin, you must type /grantadmin followed by the user name. To remove admin from a user, you must type /removeadmin username.

All Project Zomboid Server Admin Commands

These commands will allow you to summon helicopter events, stop certain weather and various commands that affect the server in Project Zomboid.

  • Command Name: alarm
    • How to use: Type /alarm to sound off a house alarm at a player's position to use this command.
  • Command Name: gunshot
    • How to use: Use this command by typing /gunshot into the chat. Doing so will spawn the gunshot meta event near players.
  • Command Name: createhorde
    • How to use: Type /createhorde amount username to summon a horde of zombies on a specified player.
    • Command Name: quit
    • How to use: Type /quit to shutdown and save the server to use this command.
  • Comand Name: startrain and stoprain
    • How to use: Type /startrain to cause a rain storm to happen on your Project Zomboid server. If you want to stop the rain on your server, type /stoprain.
  • Command Name: changeoption
    • How to use: Type /changeoption followed by option name and the value to use the change option command. The end result will look like the following: /changeoption optionname value.
  • Command Name: reloadlua
    • How to use: To use the reloadlua command type /reloadlua name of the file. Doing so will reload what ever lua script you want.
  • Command Name: save
    • How to use: To use the command save, type /save into the chat. Doing so will save the current server world.
  • Command Name: sendpulse
    • How to use: Type /sendpulse to send server perfomance information to yourself.
  • Command Name: showoptions
    • How to use: Type /showoptions to display all of the server settings and their current values.
  • Command Name: servermsg
    • How to use: Type /servermsg followed by a message to broadcast a message across your project zomboid server.
  • Command Name: players
    • How to use: To use the players command, type /players to get a list of all currently connected players on your server.

How to become an Admin on a Project Zomboid Server

To become an Admin on a Project Zomboid server, you must first be given access by a Server Owner. After you are granted Admin privileges, you can type commands into the server by typing into the chat.
