How to solve the Moon Puzzle in Earthen Coliseum – Remnant 2 Forgotten Kingdom

The Forgotten Kingdom DLC in Remnant 2 is full of traps, baits, and puzzles you must complete to progress in the narrative. The Moon Puzzle at the Earthen Coliseum is a frustrating traversal puzzle, but don't let it baffle you as we have the perfect solution for this problem.

While exploring the new areas added with The Forgotten Kingdom DLC, you'll come across the Earthen Coliseum region in Remnant 2. You can reach this region after speaking to Lydusa at The Bloodless Throne area. The Earthen Coliseum region is full of enemies and has a unique Moon Puzzle that you can solve to unlock the Mark of the Destroyer Ring.

Earthen Coliseum Moon Puzzle Solution in Remnant 2 The Forgotten Kingdom

Travel to the interiors of the Earthen Coliseum until you reach a mural (shown in the image above) with different phases of the moon. The puzzle solution can be tricky to remember, so I've broken it down into a few easy steps. The numbers on the images below correspond with each platform, so follow the directions accordingly

• Stand at the starting new moon platform
• Turn left towards the crescent moon platform. Walk to the crescent moon platform. (1)
• Turn right facing the room looking at the half-moon platform in front. Walk to the half-moon platform. (2)
• Turn right from the half-moon towards the quarter-shaped moon platform. Walk to the platform. (3)

• While on the quarter-shaped moon platform, turn towards the backside of the room and face the full Moon.
• Walk to the full moon and turn right facing the right-hand side of the room. (4)

• Walk from the full moon to the other quarter-shaped moon platform towards the right side of the room. (5)
• Turn right towards the entrance looking at the half-moon platform. Walk to the half-moon platform. (6)
• Turn left from the half-moon towards the other crescent moon platform. Walk to the other crescent moon platform and turn right. (7)
• Walk straight towards the exit.

It took me a while to understand the puzzle, as I kept falling to the trap chamber below after walking in different directions on the moon platforms. Even though the answer was painted on the walls, you must know the correct direction to take after activating the puzzle. Be patient, and follow the directions mentioned above to solve this puzzle.

After exiting the room you'll find the Mark of the Destroyer Ring kept on top of a stone. This ring's special effect states, "Perfect Dodge triggers a 4.5m AoE blast that deals 310 Explosive damage." If your character is wearing light or medium armor, then this is the perfect ring for your build as it triggers explosions with every perfect dodge.

At the end of the room, there's also a trapped door that leads to the checkpoint from where you started. Unlock the door, return to the starting area, and continue with the story quests.
