Ubisoft announces Riders Republic free to play on October 12

Riders Republic is having a PC play day!

Ubisoft has just announced that their upcoming game, Riders Republic, will be free to play on October 12 for those on Ubisoft Connect. This means that PC players can get early access to the game two weeks before it releases. You can see the official tweet below.

Unfortunately, as it requires Ubisoft Connect, console players will be left out and will have to wait until October 28 before they can jump into the Republic. But this is good news for PC players who couldn't participate in the beta and are still unsure if they want to purchase Riders Republic.

Ubisoft's tweet doesn't mention whether this will be the full game or whether progress will carry over once Riders Republic launches. Progress from the beta did not carry over, so this is a great question. Regardless, those unsure of the game and those who just want to play it early can grab their bike, snowboard, or wingsuit and join the Republic.

Ubisoft looks to support and promote Riders Republic as they just revealed the upcoming year one content. As the game's launch draws closer, Ubisoft shows players more information and gives them more opportunities to check out Riders Republic.
