There are 36 NPCs in Dig It, including shovel and item merchants, quest givers, boat dealers, funny talkers, and NPCs with no dialogue whatsoever. In any case, we'll show you how to find all these NPCs in the game, so you don't miss a single opportunity.
How to Find All NPCs in Dig It Roblox
Nookville NPC Locations
Benson, Junkyard Owner
This is the first NPC you encounter on the beach, standing behind the table. He helps you get through the tutorial and grants you free gifts.
Roderick, Merchant
This NPC can be seen on the beach in a small wooden hut, purchasing all your found items. You can either sell him everything from your inventory or one item at a time by holding it in your hands.
Milton, Blacksmith
Milton stands behind the anvil in the yard behind Roderick. He doesn't sell anything but provides short humorous conversations if you want to have a laugh.
Cooper, Pit Enthusiast
Cooper sleeps next to the Loot Pit near Milton. He simply tells you that you can appraise your items by throwing them into the Loot Pit for a small fee, making them better with a random modifier.
Agent Baldo, Secret Agent
You can see Baldo standing to the left of Roderick's shop next to a Biodegradable shovel of bright green color. Baldo will give you this shovel for free if you join the game's community and like the game in Roblox.
Balwin, Magnet Dealer
This sleeping NPC can be found to the south of Agent Baldo, on the edge of the beach, surrounded by magnet boxes. Balwin is a merchant who sells magnets that help you find better items when digging.
Ronald, Bank Guy
Ronald sleeps on the part of the beach with a large bank safe right behind Benson. He provides you information about the possibility of keeping your valuables in the bank. There you can also purchase such valuable items as backpacks.
Margot, Archeologist
One of the most useful NPCs stands right between Balwin and the bank dealer on the beach. Margot will give you many repeatable quests that are easy to do and will reward you well for completing them.
Hoover, Ship Dealer
Once you reach Level 5, you can buy your first boat to travel between the islands. The NPC that sells boats is Hoover, who can be found on the pier right behind Margot.
Scrubbucket, Pirate
Although this NPC is located in Nookville, on the beach between Margot and Ronald, he gives you a quest for the Piratesburg island. There you need to dig up at least three crates and bring them back to him for a reward. This is a one-time quest.
Patricia, Ruffles Owner
Once you enter the Nooktown in the center of the island, you will notice a young girl standing on the porch of the house. That's Patricia, who lost her dog named Ruffles. She will ask you to dig him out of the ground for a reward of 100 D$ and 150 EXP. This is a one-time quest.
Crook Dude, Thief
If you follow the road across right where Patricia stands, you'll see a shady guy standing against the bank vault. This is the Thief, who will ask you to dig up a vault for him for 1,000 D$ and 150 EXP. This is a repeatable quest, but there's a cooldown of 20 seconds on it.
Hobo Dave, Homeless
As you reach the center of the town, you'll find a hobo standing on the crossroad right below the rocket statue. His dialogue is nothing but banter, although you will be able to purchase the Item Scanner at his spot for 10,000 D$.
Timy, Child
Timy is a kid who lives inside the treehouse near the rocket statue. You need to simply climb up the ladder and speak to him for a quest that involves digging up his lost balloon. This is a one-time quest with a reward of 1,000 D$ and 300 EXP.
Piratesburg NPC Locations
Blackbread, Boat Dealer
The first NPC you encounter on the pier of Piratesburg island is Blackbeard, who sells boats. The inventory is the same as at Hoover's.
Willy, Merchant
The merchant of Piratesburg named Willy stands right next to Blackbeard. He can evaluate your inventory and purchase your items.
Robert, Magnet Dealer
The magnet seller stands right across from Blackbread at the foot of the hill. He sells similar magnet items as Balvin at Nookville.
Arthur, Blacksmith
This NPC has no dialogue whatsoever, but there are a couple of cool shovels you can buy near him. He can be seen hitting the anvil right across Willy.
Prehistoric Man
If you climb the central mountain and enter the large cave, you'll find this NPC on the platform to your left. He will give you a one-time quest of digging up 10 food items for a reward of 4,500 D$ and 400 EXP.
Sand Guy
You can find this NPC on the adjacent island with a large sand castle. He gives you a Sand Kingdom quest, but it unlocks only if you've reached at least Level 25.
Two Guys
These two NPCs can be found inside the tavern on the same island as the Sand Guy. They have no dialogue, and there are no items for purchase nearby.
Greek Temple NPC Locations
Dominus Empyreus, Roman Emperor
Dominus is the only NPC that can be found on the Greek Temple island. He sits on the throne inside the temple and sells his special Emperor Shovel for 88,888 D$. Note that this shovel is available only to players who reached at least Level 33. This shovel adds a Golden modifier to all items that have been dug by it.
Badlands NPC Locations
Mia, Merchant
Mia is the merchant of Badlands that evaluates and purchases your inventory. She can be found inside the house on the beach. Her dialogue differs from other merchants, as she's quite rude, which makes her one of the funniest NPCs in the game.
Skeleton Guy
This NPC in the skeleton outfit stands right behind Mia's house on the picnic rug. If you talk to him, he will tell you about the possibility of catching the Colossal Worm, which has a 22% chance to spawn inside the pit, located in the center of the Badlands island.
Waldo, Old Guy
This NPC has no dialogue, and he just sits there, reading his newspaper, on the porch of the house located right behind the Skeleton Guy.
Flapjack, Fisher
This final NPC of the Badlands also has no dialogue, sitting on a smal pier at the lake right between the Waldo's house and the pyramid. This is actually a very smart homage to the Roblox game Fisch, which directly inspired the creation of Dig It.
Permafrost NPC Locations
Rimbus, Boat Dealer
This is the main boat seller on the Permafrost island. You can find him in a small wooden shack on the coast near the pier.
Marie, Elf
Marie is a shovel merchant who sells the Snow Shovel, which has special Permaforst buffs. Marie can be seen in the center of the Snow Town. This shovel is available only to players who reached at least Level 28, and it sells for 45,000 D$.
Gerald, Merchant
The main merchant of the island can be seen inside the hut right across from Marie. He evaluates and purchases your found items.
Hobo
Right next to Gerald's hut, you can find a sleeping hobo in an elf suit. He has some funny dialogue, but there's nothing more to it.
Frank, Chill Dude
Once you move beyond the Snow Town, you'll see an entrance into a giant ice cave. There are several NPCs here, including Frank, who has some dialogue but not much else.
Frozen Hobo
If you look down next to Frank, you'll see a frozen hobo under a thick sheet of ice. Unfortunately, there's no way of digging him out.
Rick, Explorer
The second talking NPC of the ice cave is Rick, who can be seen near a campfire right across from Frank's tent. This NPC gives you a chance to dig up a Wooly Mammoth for a reward of 10,000 D$ and 800 EXP.
Frozen Elf
In a similar fashion, if you look under the ice next to Rick, you'll see another frozen NPC with no dialogue. This one's wearing an elf suit.
The Ice Lord
Once you leave the ice cave and travel further on, you should be able to see a transparent ice castle. The Ice Lord sits inside the castle on the throne and sells the Frosted Shovel for 75,000 D$. Just like Snow Shovel, this one also gets buffed at Permafrost, but you can use it only if you've reached at least Level 30.
Lunar Cloud NPC Locations
Lunar Merchant
Once in a while, a Lunar Cloud event randomly spawns a new area above the sea, with a 22% chance. If you reach the top level, you'll find the Lunar merchant who sells the Lunar Shovel for 67,500 D$. This shovel can dig out exclusive nighttime items at any time of the day, but you can use it only if you've reached at least Level 30.
