Picking the right family is essential for success in Attack on Titan: Evolution. Not all families are easy to get, as getting them is based on the gacha system. You'll have to spin for them, making picking the right one difficult. Luckily, the pity system is implemented, so you can count on getting Epic and Mythic families after a certain number of spins. Our best families tier list will make your choice easier.

Best S Tier Families in Attack on Titan Evolution

Ackerman

Ackerman is a Mythic family and is one of the best choices in the game, mainly because of its attack speed. You can dispatch enemies much easier with a 1.2x speed and damage multiplier. Also, when you reach 35% of your health, you'll get a 50% boost to all stats for several minutes.

Reiss

Reiss is a Mythic family that allows you to control fights with Titans better. Those horrifying creatures won't attack you first, with a chance they don't retaliate even after you hit them. It's a great feeling when you can pick them one by one if you're strong enough to kill them with one hit.

Yeager

Yeager in Attack on Titan: Evolution is a Mythic family that is arguably the best choice for beginners and players who take risks. The main draw is having two revives when you die, which can be a lifesaver (pun intended). Also, it's not bad when you have the ability to kill all Titans near you instantly.

Best A Tier Families in Attack on Titan Evolution

Arlert

Arlert is an Epic family that is great initially as it awards you a 10% experience bonus. That will speed up leveling, but at later stages is not that important. Arlert also has one revive on death.

Braun

Braun is an Epic family in Attack on Titan: Evolution that grants its members doubled health pool. A large number of hit points will keep you alive while you level up and manage to get a more beneficial family. Also, one revive upon death is an excellent addition.

Ksaver

Ksaver is an Epic family in AoT: Evolution with a philosophy that defense is the best offense. You'll get a 15% bonus on scoring a Critical hit if you choose them. One revive after dying is also part of the family plan.

Best B Tier Families in Attack on Titan Evolution

Galliard

Galliard is an Epic family that puts focus on speed in Attack on Titan: Evolution. You'll get a 50% speed bonus while you run. While this interests some players who like to hit and run, it doesn't make much sense in the long run. But you get one to revive upon death, so they're not that bad.

Kruger

Kruger is a Rare family that is an excellent choice if you want to improve your offensive potential, at least at the start of the game. Kruger awards you a 10% damage increase, which doesn't sound like much, but that bonus can make a difference initially.

Zoe

Zoe is a rare family in AoT: Evolution that awards you a 10% upgrade price reduction. This is not much, but you can switch to this family when you need some money saving.

Best C Tier Families in Attack on Titan Evolution

Braus

Braus is a rare family in Attack on Titan: Evolution. Don't get attached to this family; you'll leave them as soon as you find a better one. Braus gives you a 10% range increase, a nice bonus, but you won't miss them if they're gone.

Sadies

Sadies are a rare family in AoT: Evolution that can be helpful if you're short on gold. While part of this wealthy family, you'll get a 10% increase in gold.

Kirschtein

Kirschtein is a rare family that loves horses. How do we know? You'll get a 25% bonus on horse stats if you become a member.
