Complete Fisch Animal Event Guide — Animal Pool Bestiary, Octophant Boss and More

Are Fishes Animals?

In the post-Second Sea update, the developers have added a new Limited Time Bestiary based on real-life creatures called the Animals. The reason for this bestiary is an accident caused by Dr.Glimmerfin's Assissant, Dr.Blackfin, who accidentally spilled a serum into the sea, causing fish to mutate into bizarre animals. So, if you are wondering how to catch these Animal-looking fish, here is a perfect guide for you.

How to find the Animal Pool in Fisch

The Animal Pool Spawn Message

You can only catch the mutated Animal looking like fish in the newly added Animal Pool. This pool spawns in both the First and Second Sea in random locations. Yes, the locations are random, but before appearing, you will receive a server-wide notification saying, "An Animal Pool has spawned near a Landmark." During my playtime, I found it spawning quite near the Roslit Bay POI and Lushgrove POI. So, I recommend roaming around these areas to catch the fish quickly in case they spawn over there.

Once you receive such a message, you can head over to the prescribed landmark to find an orange pool where you can fish for the following fishes. Also, there are two separate bestiaries for the Animals in both the first and second sea.

How to catch the Octophant Boss in Fisch

While all the above fishes can be caught in the regular Animal Pool, you can only reel in the Octophant Boss and a few animals from the Octophant Pool. Yes, this is a different pool from the regular Animal Pool, as it only spawns in the second sea and has a giant elephant in the center. You can use the Smokescreen and Tempest totem to spawn the Octophant Pool in the Second Sea near Lushgrove POI. For this, you will receive a message saying, " An Elephant Octopus has spawned near a Landmark."

Initially, it will be covered by a large bubble that can be broken after the players collectively catch 25 fish from the pool. After that, you can start fishing for the Octophant Boss and the other six fishes in this bestiary using the given requirements.
