Final Tower Defense Tier List – All Units, Ranked

The final word in tower defense.

Final Tower Defense is an anime-themed Roblox tower defense-style experience in which you fight off waves of enemies on a variety of maps. You can initially take three different units (towers) with you into battle, with three more slots opening as you level up. But you can also find secret units and evolve some units by finding multiple copies of them. With more than 20 units in the game, it can be hard to decide who to concentrate on. Read on for our Final Defense tier list, where we rank all the different units.

It’s important to note that not all of these units will be available from the Summon portal, which regularly cycles through available heroes every hour. So, keep an eye on which units are available before summoning by checking our lists below. For some, you will also need to play each map until you get lucky and find the secret units by completing runs. This is well worth doing, as many of the secret units are up there with the best towers in the game.

S-Tier Final Tower Defense units

These are the best units in the game. Some you'll need to evolve to, while some are also secret units.

  • Coyote (Resurrected)
  • Fiend Brother (secret unit, Slayer Ruins)
  • Golden Beverage Chiller (evolved secret unit, Alien Planet)
  • Ikki (final)
  • Illusionist Leader
  • Legendary Warrior (Enraged)
  • Onwin
  • Sage of 6 Noodles (secret unit, Hidden Village)
  • Strongest Captain (secret unit, Hollow Sands)
  • Umiorra (Final)

A-Tier Final Tower Defense units

These ones are the next best thing to S-tier units. They will certainly get you through the game.

  • Beverage Chiller (secret unit, Alien Planet)
  • Coyote (Awakened)
  • Joe (SP)
  • Legendary Warrior (SS)
  • Pride (Weak)
  • Scared Slayer
  • Sengoku (Final)
  • Sound Pillar (Injured)

B-Tier Final Tower Defense units

The following are "average" units you can rely on when you start to gain a good selection of towers. Once you have your A- and S-Tier, however, they're best replaced.

  • Coyote
  • Crow
  • Golden Flash
  • Ikki (Lord)
  • Kon (Rage)
  • Pink Sorcerer
  • Sakura Captain
  • Shadow Commander
  • Snow Queen (War)
  • Sound Pillar
  • Spade
  • Umiorra (First)

C-Tier Final Tower Defense units

Units you should get early on that are a step up from the worst towers. We highly do not recommend them, but if there's no other option, they should be okay.

  • Bulma
  • Gojo
  • Gon
  • Kon (Adult)
  • Ruffy (TS)
  • Sengoku

F-Tier Final Tower Defense units

These are towers you should ignore. In fact, use these if you have to and only keep them if you need them for evolving other units.

  • Blossom (Kid)
  • Boku
  • Ikki
  • Fiend I
  • Fiend II
  • Fiend III
  • Green Swordsman (PTS)
  • Lord Alien Soldier I
  • Lord Alien Soldier II
  • Lord Alien Soldier III
  • Ruffy (PIS)

However, note that some of the lower-ranked heroes actually evolve into S-Tier ones, so you’ll still need to collect them to eventually evolve them.
