How to escape 3008 – Roblox

If you're a fan of Roblox horror experiences, chances are you've played, or at least heard of, 3008. Since its debut, 3008 has intrigued millions of players, and has led people down some intensely conspiracy-theory-ridden rabbit holes, wondering what the point of the experience is, and if it's true that there's a way to beat it. Spoiler—there's not.

What is 3008 on Roblox?

For those unaware, 3008 is a survival-horror experience based on the fictional SCP 3008 case study. In this experience, you're trapped inside of SCP-3008-1 (which is, essentially, a paranormal anomaly of a building that mimics an abandoned IKEA store) which contains a multitude of entities (known collectively as SCP-3008-2) who disguise themselves as mindless IKEA employees during the day, but become exceptionally hostile at night.

How to play 3008 on Roblox

To survive in 3008, you must collect food, water, health packs, and find ways to protect yourself from the SCP-3008-2 during the night. Typically, this means using the various items that can be found in the store to build a base, and trying to team up with other players in the experience. As the day cycle repeats, the day counter will go up, and can continue to go up indefinitely—there is no end or final day.

Can you escape 3008 on Roblox?

Despite what view-hungry YouTubers have likely told you, no, there is no way to escape the building in 3008. There's no secret glitch in the floor, or rare door that only appears in certain servers, or hidden code for you to find—there is no way to leave. The point of the experience is to mimic the feeling of losing your mind; getting lost in an endless maze of repetition and monsters and doing all you can to survive, while slowly coming to the realization that said survival is leading you to nothing, only cycling you through a dystopian nightmare.
