Just as the name states, Adopt Me! players can adopt hundreds of adorable pets and help raise them, take in other players as a parent or older sibling, or even be the adoptee themselves and find their forever home. Whether you want to create your own house and grow the biggest family on the block, or start your life fresh and be part of one that's already established, Adopt Me! has something for everyone. While deciding how you want to play, you may have noticed that you always spawn into The Neighborhood when joining Adopt Me, rather than Adoption Island, even though there are player houses there. Why is that? Continue reading below to find out!
Why doesn't my house spawn on Adoption Island in Adopt Me!?
Having your house on Adoption Island is so convenient—you're right next to all of the important buildings, ie. the Salon, Nursery etc., you can interact with friends easier, and it makes you seem pretty important, too! But every time I spawn into Adopt Me!, my plot is always in The Neighborhood...is my luck that bad?! No, it's not; getting a plot on Adoption Island isn't actually luck-based at all, and is rather locked behind a gamepass.
To build your house on Adoption Island, you need the Premium Plots gamepass, which costs a whopping 449 Robux. With this gamepass, players can choose one of four plots on Adoption Island (assuming they're empty) to build their home. These plots are located next to the Hospital, the Farm Shop, the Baby Shop, and the Hot Springs.

That's it for our guide on how to get a house on Adoption Island in Adopt Me!—it's as simple as "have Robux." If you choose to purchase the Premium Plots gamepass, it will stick with you every time you join Adopt Me!, so you don't have to worry about it being a one-time-only thing!
