I smell a rat...

Escape room puzzles can be a lot of fun. But if you want to replace some of the puzzle elements with the terror of trying to escape a monster while rushing around solving the puzzle, check out Cheese Escape. In this game, you’re thrown into a locked maze where you and the other players have to find nine pieces of cheese, opening a series of doors in the process. You work together to open the doors, but you alone must also find all the cheese if you want to escape. Here's how to find all the keys in Cheese Escape.

How to get the Green Key in Cheese Escape

Leave the safe zone, follow the path right, then take the first left turn. Follow this until the path turns left to a T-junction and turn left. Follow the path as it goes right and right again, and follow the path to the very end, where it turns right to a corner. You’ll find a piece of cheese and the Green Key (green 1 on the map) next to a ladder.

How to find the Red Key

If you’ve just collected the Green Key, go up the ladder at this location and follow the path on the upstairs level to the exit (blue down arrow on map). At the bottom of the ladder, follow the path to the end where you can use the Green Key to open the Green Door on your left. In the room on the other side, put the code 3842 into the keypad to unlock the door. Follow the hall to the end where you’ll find a piece of cheese and the Red Key (red 2 on the map).

How to get the Blue Key

From the safe zone, follow the path right then take the third right turn, just before the path turns left. Keep following the main path as it turns left twice, and you’ll find the red door at the end on your right. Open it with the red key and pick up the board on the other side. Take the board back through the Green Door and past where you picked up the Red Key, through two portals (grabbing the cheese between the two). You’ll find a section of the floor is missing here. Use the board to repair the floor and go across to get the Blue Key (marked 3 on the map above).

How to get to the Green Button

Go back up the ladder where you found the Green Key, then follow the path straight to the end to find the Blue Door on the left. Open it with the Blue Key, go through (grabbing the cheese), and press the Green button. This opens the door marked in Purple on the map above, allowing you to get the last piece of blocked cheese.

How to escape the maze in Cheese Escape

To leave, starting from upstairs, drop down using the exit marked on the map (blue down arrow) once more. Turn right instead of heading to the Green Door and go through the two shortcuts (there’s a piece of cheese in the little room in between). As long as you’ve now collected all nine pieces of cheese, you can unlock the door here (marked 4 on the map). You can now exit via the door in the Safe Zone door (orange arrow). Congratulations!
