In Bee Swarm Simulator, you're challenged to create the best and busiest hive of all by collecting bee companions, completing quests, and earning currency. Some currency, such as Cogs, can only be obtained when certain quests are active, which can be a bit confusing.
For a quick rundown on Cogs, including how to get them and what they're used for, continue reading the brief guide below.
How to earn Cogs in Bee Swarm Simulator
First thing's first, let me clear up the confusion—Cogs can only be obtained while you are actively completing the Robo Bear Challenge. Upon starting the challenge (which will cost one Robo Pass), you will earn 10 Cogs. When the challenge begins, you'll be shown two quests (labeled Quest A and Quest B) and will need to select which one you want to accept. After completing the quest you accepted in the given time limit, you'll earn 10 more Cogs.
Before beginning a quest, you'll be able to use Cogs to purchase upgrades, which will help make the quest easier to some extent. The better the upgrade, the more Cogs it will cost.

There are 25 total rounds in the Robo Bear Challenge, which means you'll have 25 quests to complete, and plenty of opportunities to earn and spend your Cogs. If you don't reach round 25, that's ok, you'll still earn rewards based on how many rounds you did manage to complete. The rewards are as follows:
- Round 5 - Bronze Cog Amulet
- Round 10 - Silver Cog Amulet
- Round 15 - Gold Cog Amulet
- Round 20 - Diamond Cog Amulet
- Round 25 - Supreme Cog Amulet + Robo Bear Cub Buddy
When the challenge ends, any Cogs you were previously holding will disappear.
