The fabled Kioru sword has received a V2 upgrade in King Legacy. Yes, you can now upgrade/evolve your Kioru to unleash a new range of powers unrivaled/unparalleled by other swords in the game. So, here is a detailed guide about getting the new Kioru V2 upgrade in King Legacy the fastest way possible.
King Legacy Kioru V2 Guide
Firstly, I assume that you already have a Kirou in your current build or your inventory. If you don't, go and visit the Tiger NPC in the Loaf Island (Second Sea) and finish his set of missions to purchase the sword for 25 Million Beli. Remember, you are required to be 3300 Level to take up his challenge. So, ensure to grind and level up before even moving to his location.
Defeating Sea Bosses - Third Sea Event
Once you have Kioru, you can start the process of getting V2. The first step is to defeat all four sea bosses as part of the newly added third Sea event. You can find the list of these bosses below.
- Drakenfyr, the Inferno King
- Chaos Kraken
- Deepsea Crusher
- Abyssal Tyrant
If you are wondering how or where to find them, don't worry! I've got you covered. So, every 140 minutes, a server-wide message will be sent to all the players on Third Sea saying, "There is Something Unusual on the Sea." This means that one of the above four bosses has spawned in the game. All you have to do is travel to the Vast Sea area in the Third Sea to find and defeat one of the bosses. Since the Vast Sea comprises nothing but the ocean area, you have to keep moving around this area on a boat or using your devil fruit until you spot a boss.
Like this, you have to keep finding and beating all four bosses to qualify to get the V2 in King Legacy. This will take time as the bosses spawn randomly and may repeat themselves if you have a lot of gap between each of your boss battles.
To beat the bosses, I suggest using high-level fruits like Buddha or Dragon and combining them with your other sword or fighting style abilities to take a chunk of HP quickly from the boss. During the battle, ensure that you move a lot and reposition quite frequently, as the bosses tend to attack players who remain stationary. Also, if you feel the boss is targeting you way too much, even after moving a lot, it's better to bring a friend/ally for the battle, as your friend can bait the boss to focus on it while you dish damage or vice versa.
Mikaru NPC Map Location
After defeating all the bosses, you will be eligible to get the Kioru V2 in King Legacy. Now, all that is left is to travel to the newly added Luma Grove island and speak with the Mikaru NPC to get the skill. You can reach this island by traveling in the south-western direction from the Unearthly Shadow island in the Third Sea.
This is a very, very tiny island in the game, and it's impossible to miss the Mikaru NPC who stands at one of the corners. Speak with him and pay 55,555,555 Beli to get the Kioru V2.
Kioru V2 Moveset & Showcase
Currently, the Kirou V2 has two different movements, each of them are unique and extremely powerful in the game.
- Echo Strike: Activating the move unleashes a series of random sword slashes on the enemy's body.
- Biohazard Bolt: Send a high wave of beam forward that attacks the player and inflicts a knockback effect.
