How to get pineapple seeds in Roblox Islands?

It's no secret that the popular Roblox experience Islands takes many of its mechanics from the sandbox-style game Minecraft, including farming various fruits and vegetables. Recently added with the Jan. 8, 2022, update, players can now purchase pineapple seeds to help them make a new, and dare we say controversial, type of pizza. In this quick and easy guide, we'll be going over where you can obtain pineapple seeds and how to grow them.

Purchasing seeds

Similar to the watermelon seed, pineapple seeds are seasonal—meaning that they can only be purchased during the summer months. There is a daily 25 percent chance that Cletus will visit your island throughout the summer season, bringing with him the coveted summer seeds. There is a six-count limit on pineapple seeds, with each seed costing 2,850 coins.

Planting seeds

Contrary to popular belief, pineapples do not grow on trees—so you luckily won't have to worry about dedicating a massive portion of your island to nurturing these tropical fruits. Instead, pineapple seeds can be planted anywhere that's plowed and only require enough room to grow a small, flowery bush.

Growing pineapples

After just a few minutes, you should notice your plot begin to sprout small, green pineapples—these will eventually become the full-sized, yellow pineapples that we all know and love. Pineapples can be harvested the same way any other plant can be, by hovering your cursor over the planter and pressing F. Once harvested, pineapples can be sold for 85 coins or, combined with dough and tomato sauce, make pineapple pizza.
