The Thunder Breathing trainer is Zentaro, and he can be found at the top of a mountain in the Verdant Cliffs. To reach Zentaro, start from Windy Path near the shrine and follow the route toward the Mother Bear Boss area. Once you reach there, keep walking straight past the Serpent King Obari Boss to reach the Wilderness area.

From the Wilderness area, keep walking straight until you find a large cliff to the left. Once you have found it, look for the vertical climbing route to the top. After that, parkour through the branches using Wall Climb and Double Jump until you reach the third cliff.

Once you reach the third cliff, head to the very top of the mountain, and you will find the Thunder Trainer Zentaro waiting. Interact with him to begin the Thunder Breathing training if you meet the requirements.

How to Complete All the Thunder Breathing Training Tasks?

If you meet the requirements, you can start the Thunder Breathing Training questline. You need to complete six training tasks before Thunder Breathing becomes available. Below, we’ve listed all six training tasks for Thunder Breathing and how to complete them.

Meditation

The first Thunder Breathing training task is Meditation. For this task, watch the moving indicator and interact at the correct timing point to make progress. Keep following the prompts until you have reached the required progress. Once you complete the task, you will unlock the next training objective.

Cup Training

The second task is Cup Training, a memory-based mini-game. During this challenge, a ball is placed underneath one of several cups before the cups are shuffled. Your objective is to keep track of the cup containing the ball and select it correctly after the shuffle.

You need to do this 10 times.  Once you select all the correct cups and complete the required rounds, the Cup Training objective will be marked as complete. You can then continue to the Push Ups challenge.

NOTE: The shuffling speed increases with each round. So, focus on the correct cup before the movement begins and follow it carefully as the cups move.

Push Ups

The third Thunder Breathing training task is Push Ups. For this challenge, follow the button prompts shown on your screen and press the required input when the timing indicator reaches the correct position. Make sure you do this until it reaches 100% requirement. Once you finish the task, you can move to the next training.

Aim Training

The fourth task is Aim Training. For this challenge, you need to hit the targets that appear on your screen during the minigame. Continue hitting the required targets until you reach 100% requirement. Once you complete the Aim Training objective, you can move to the Boulder Split challenge.

Boulder Split

The fifth training task is Boulder Split, which requires you to complete a boulder-cutting mini-game. For this challenge, you need to follow the prompts that show up on the screen and keep your input aligned with the required movement. Once you split the Boulder, you will complete the task and can move to the last training task.

Defeat the Thunder Trainee Boss

The final Thunder Breathing training task is to defeat the Thunder Trainee Mini Boss.  Before starting the fight, make sure your character has enough HP. During the fight, avoid attacking recklessly and watch the boss's movements. Instead, look for openings that allow you to deal significant damage.

Once you defeat the Thunder Trainee Boss, you will complete the final training objective and unlock Thunder Breathing Style. After unlocking the style, open the Skill Tree and spend your available Skill Points to unlock available Thunder Breathing skills.
