The 2023 holiday season is finally here and Adoption Island is filled with so much cheer! To celebrate the holidays, Adopt Me! has released its 2023 winter event, which means new pets, new accessories, and, of course, new minigames.
How to play and win Pet Rescue in Adopt Me!
Pet Rescue (located in the Winter Village) is a team-based minigame that was popularized during the 2021 holiday season and challenges players to work with their given team to free a pet from a block of ice as fast as they can. To play this minigame, you'll need to use the Arctic Express to travel to the Winter Village (or simply teleport there) and then look for the Minigames sign pictured below.
Once in the minigame area, you should see a large lake with a glowing circle in front of it—this is the queue for Pet Rescue.
When the minigame begins, each player will be given a pickaxe; swinging this pickaxe at your team's block of ice will help free the pet frozen inside. To add an extra challenge to this minigame, it takes place on a frozen lake, which means both you, and the pet you're attempting to free, will slide around without much control. If you're hit by the block of ice, or a skating penguin, you'll be knocked over and stunned for a few seconds, which can really make a difference when the competition gets going.
The team that successfully frees their pet first will earn a hefty amount of Gingerbread, but everyone gets a decent stack of it just for participating!
