How to Survive Window in Doors

Don't let Window attack you!

Window Sally is the entity introduced in The Content Update for Doors. First, it appears in the window, and then it reveals itself as a little girl that's chasing you across the hotel. Here, we'll show you how to encounter and survive the Window entity.

Step 1: Encounter Window

Window appears randomly in The Hotel, but if you want her to spawn with a 100% guarantee, then use this seed: 2172801. You can enter it in the modifier window when creating a new elevator in The Lobby. Of course, you need to beat The Hotel at least once to unlock the seed modifier.

If you don't want to use the seed and wish to encounter her randomly, then be sure to use such modifiers as Good Time or More Stuff to increase the chance of her naturally spawning in the game. The main reason why you'd want her to spawn naturally is because you'll get the badge for encountering her, which is impossible when loading a modified seed.

Once you enter the seed, simply continue your path towards the Doors 14-15. You'll enter an L-shaped corridor with several windows. At first, you'll see a smiling face in the darkness, and then Sally will pop out of the window chasing you. Her entire body is completely black except for her eyes and a creepy smile. Once she jumps out of the window, immediately run away, or she'll jump right in your face.

Step 2: Survive Window

Surviving Window entity can be hard if you're not prepared. That's why it's important to purchase at least one item in The Hotel Pre-Run Shop. The reason is that Sally chases players to steal their items, and if you don't have any, then she'll jump at you. So be sure to purchase any item and throw it on the floor in front of Sally for her to pick up. Once she picks up an item, she'll be distracted, allowing you to escape much further.

Note that Sally is extremely fast, so escaping her without the speed boosting items will be very hard. She also doesn't react to any obstacles, freely moving through walls and doors. If you want to get rid of the entity once and for all, then the only method is to crucify her. Here's how to do it:

  1. Purchase the Crucifix in the Jeff's Shop at Door 52 for 250 Gold.
  2. Equip it from your inventory.
  3. Activate the Crucifix once you see Window approaching you.
  4. Once she attacks you, the Crucifix will chain her to the floor with a blue light.

Once Window gets crucified, she won't be able to chase you for a while, so you can freely move through the rest of the rooms without encountering her again. Note that you can use Crucifix against other entities in the game.
