It's no secret that Pet Simulator X is the prime example of a pay-to-win Roblox experience, and that many players will do just about anything to get their hands on the best, and rarest, pets, even if that means spending hundreds of Robux, and real-life dollars, on in-game boosts, bundles, gamepasses, and more. One of these gamepasses, the VIP gamepass, appears to be exceptionally popular, with thousands of players alerting entire servers of their elite status every day. Is VIP worth it in Pet Simulator X?
In my opinion, no, purchasing the VIP gamepass in Pet Simulator X is not worth it. Depending on how you play the experience, however, it could be totally worth it to you, so it really depends on your own goals and wants, along with your overall playstyle. If you're someone who wants to grind your way to the top of the leaderboards and be seen as the best of the best, than this gamepass may be up your alley; if you're a more casual player who just enjoys collecting pets and completing quests here and there, I'd recommend saving your Robux for something else.

What does the VIP gamepass offer in Pet Simulator X?
Upon purchasing the VIP gamepass in Pet Simulator X for 400 Robux, you'll automatically unlock an exclusive [VIP] chat tag and color, a VIP role in the experience's Discord server, and a permanent x2 XP (100% XP) boost. With this boost active, you'll earn twice as much XP for everything you do—breaking chests, opening eggs, unlocking achievements, etc. will all earn double the amount of XP that you were earning before—which means you'll begin ranking up much more quickly.
You'll also unlock two new VIP-only areas of the map (one of which is in Spawn World and the other that's located in the Trading Plaza), and a new VIP Reward that can be claimed every four hours. This reward works similarly to the free Rank Reward that can be claimed every five hours and gives various boosts and an extra pile of Diamonds.
Should I buy VIP in Pet Simulator X?
Though this all sounds like a pretty sweet deal (and it is for those who prioritize ranking up and showing off their high-level status), it's personally lessened for me when I think about/compare all of the other free boosts that Pet Simulator X offers. For free, I could earn a permanent x0.5 XP (50% XP) boost by verifying that my Twitter account follows BIG Games, which is a pretty solid boost considering I don't have to pay any Robux for it. Though the Rank Rewards take an hour longer to earn than the VIP Rewards would, they still offer me a decently hefty amount of free boosts nonetheless, and I can get them for free. Using the Daycare is also a really solid way to passively earn currency, Diamonds, boosts, and even pets—also for free.

At the end of the day, the decision is totally up to you, if you choose to buy the VIP gamepass, awesome, if not, that's cool too! Do what's best for your play style and your personal Pet Simulator X goals.
