Losing yourself in Roblox is a great way to kick back and kill some time, whether you’re traveling, getting through a rainy day, or just relaxing. But what are the most addicting Roblox games?
What are the most addicting Roblox Games?
For a Roblox game to be truly addicting I think it needs to be free, regularly updated, packed full of content, and best of all fun, preferably solo and with friends. There’s no science to this, and I’m sure there are other games you’re more addicted to. Make your case in the comments below!
10. Natural Disaster Survival
Survival games are huge right now and they don’t come much better on Roblox than Natural Disaster Survival. It's a round-based experience where you try to survive up to 12 disaster scenarios across more than 20 preset maps, including floods, tornadoes, and earthquakes. Each map gives you 40 seconds to prepare and, if you survive, you’ll move to the next map. With more than two billion visits, it's safe to say survival is addicting. Â
9. All Star Tower Defense
If you want a playbook on how to make a game addicting, check out All Star Tower Defense. Great gameplay in a popular game genre (TD)? Check. A super popular theme (anime) where you’ve mashed up all the best characters from the whole genre? Check. Regular content updates that keep adding cool new features, including easter eggs and a gacha-style system to try to get rare units? Check. There are just so many reasons to keep playing.
8. Blox Fruits
Anime-themed RPGs are some of the most popular games in the Roblox world and for many players, Blox Fruits is at the top of the pile. Taking its inspiration from the popular manga series One Piece, the game sees you exploring loads of islands in the search for fame and fortune, as you battle great bosses and complete quests. And wow, there is a lot of content! At the time of writing, you can feed your addiction for an incredible 2,550 levels of hack-and-slash fun!Â

7. Welcome to Bloxburg
While Welcome to Bloxburg isn’t free (it will set you back 25 Robux), that hasn’t stopped this popular experience from gaining millions of visitors. Once you arrive, you’ll soon see why if you’re into a gentle roleplay experience with tonnes to do and see. Build, explore, decorate, work or just relax and enjoy your way around the map. Where the addicting part comes in is the depth at which you can customize your experience, as you can edit and tinker with everything in your home to make your unique creation.Â
6. Pet Simulator X
If you love pets and want to chill out and relax online, Pet Simulator X is a fantastic time-wasting choice. You start with a cat or a dog, collect coins and chests by exploring the world, and then hatch new pets from eggs that you can trade or collect. The game has gone through several iterations, with X being the most popular right now as it combines the popular gameplay of the original game with the great pets from its sequel.Â
5. Piggy
Just. One. More Try. That’s what makes Piggy so addicting! Don’t let the cute name put you off. Piggy is a survival horror experience full of jump scares and nerve-wracking moments. In each play, you and your fellow players get to vote on a map (there are more than 10), then a game mode (more than five choices), before one player is chosen as Piggy and the others try to survive. There are lots of keys and tools to add to the complexity and no two plays feel the same, which will keep you coming back for more.Â
4. Theme Park Tycoon 2
Some Roblox experiences simply blow you away and Theme Park Tycoon 2 is one of those for me. When you start you get your plot of land to build on, then you can build the theme park rides of your dreams. You can play with friends to make the most of your plot, choosing from hundreds of scenery and ride options. It's the kind of experience where you start experimenting in the morning and suddenly it is the middle of the night!Â
3. Murder Mystery 2
If you want to take down the horror a notch from Piggy, while adding some extra intrigue to the survival theme, then join the millions of regulars playing Murder Mystery 2. It’s a similar idea, but here you have a murderer, some innocents, but also a sheriff trying to work with the innocents to take down the murderer. But just who is the murderer? This twist makes it super fun, while the addition of a bunch of collectible items keeps me coming back even more.Â

2. Royale High
Royale High has sat near the top of the Roblox charts for years now and it shows no signs of losing its popularity. On the surface, it looks like a fantasy-themed role-playing school and dress-up experience but it is so much more than that. There are loads of locations to explore, regular themed updates, fun mini-games galore, and all kinds of cool gear to collect and trade.  Â
1. Adopt Me!
It’s hard to deny the addictive qualities of a Roblox experience that boasts 400+ million players! Adopt Me has been around since 2017 but shows no signs of losing its popularity. Adot and raise pets, trade and collect them, and build up your collection of legendary pets. You can also build your dream home, and roleplay with your friends in a wide range of cool dimensions.Â
