It's no secret that having rare pets in the point-and-click farming experience Pet Simulator X is alluring, and that some players would do just about anything to get their hands on them. So, how do you obtain the rarest (or in some cases, ultra-rarest) pets in Pet Simulator X? The answer— plushies, and luckily, BIG Games, the development team behind Pet Simulator X, have plans to release two more on March 15, 2022!
Similar to the Huge Cat, which is a now exclusive pet that was only available for an exceptionally limited amount of time, the two new plushies, Dragon Plush and Dog Plush, will be sold in very small quantities, and likely won't be restocked after they sell out. For those unfamiliar with the history of the Huge Cat, players needed to purchase the physical Huge Cat toy from the official BIG Games merch store to obtain this pet.
On Sep. 5, 2021, 5,000 Huge Cats were produced and available for players to purchase for $50 USD—these stuffed animals sold out in seconds. On Sep. 22, 2021, the Huge Cat was restocked once more with 50 units, again selling out almost instantly. Finally, on Oct. 10, 2021, the Huge Cat was restocked for the last time, with 1,500 units. In total, there are only 6,550 official Huge Cat plushes in the world.
Unfortunately for those in school, at work, or those who are just overall busy during the week, both the Dragon Plush and Dog plush will be released at 11am CT on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, and will likely sell out within seconds. If you're hoping to get your hands on either of these plushies, we'd recommend setting an alarm so that you don't forget, and having as many devices ready and waiting as possible!
