There are 40+ animals in Raise Animals that players can catch, raise, and put on display in their zoo. Every animal has certain attributes that make them better (or worse) than the other in the Index. You will have to go through all types of animals when you start playing the game, but the eventual goal is to have the best animals in your zoo that can make you rich. This Raise Animals tier list ranks all the animals, so you know which ones to go after.

Raise Animals FAQs
The Phoenix is the fastest animal in Raise Animals, with a base speed of up to 35. When it crashes for the first time during a run, it further gains a 200% speed boost for 10 seconds instead of dying.
The Elephant is the slowest animal in Raise Animals, with a maximum speed of 9. That makes it easy to catch, but also makes it the worst animal for catching other animals. The best strategy for the Elephant is to catch it, wait for it to get mutations, and sell for a high profit.
No, not every animal has a passive ability. Basic animals like Buffalo, Snake, Zebra, and Whale do not have a passive. Some animals also have double passives, like the Lion, which gains a speed boost by eating enemies and adds Raw Meat to your inventory for free.
Yes, the T-Rex in Raise Animals is worth catching because it has the highest base value in the game. Adding a T-Rex to your zoo will increase your zoo's value by $405,000. That's without any mutations. It might not be as good in the mini-game, but it's worth having in the zoo if you want to get rich.
The Capybara can only be obtained via the Daily Wheel Spin located in the Shop section of Raise Animals. It has a 1% chance of dropping from the Spin and is currently the best animal in the game.
