How to Get Berry Seeds & Bushes in Islands

Growing different vegetables and fruit is a great way to get money in Roblox's Islands aka Skyblock! You start out with a single berry bush, but no obvious information on how to get more. We'll take a look at what you need to do to obtain berry seeds so you can start creating yourself an impressive berry patch!

How to Get Berry Seeds

The first way to get yourself a berry seed is to just harvest berries from the bush on your island! This seems impossible because it doesn't happen often, but you can get a seed from it, you just have to get really lucky. The spawn rate is pretty slow and the drop rate of the seed is very low.

Another way to get one is to trade with another player! You'll need gold most likely, you can talk to the banker to be given gold that you can trade. Keep an eye on the chat for anyone offering to trade a seed. You could also ask a friend that doesn't play the game to load it up and give you their bush seed from their island! The bush can be removed with an axe, you will be given a berry seed once you hack at it enough.

If you've got some Robux handy, you can purchase a Starter Pack for 199 Robux that comes with one Berry Bush Seed. There's also a VIP Rank for 400 Robux that gives you a Double Harvest Chance, VIP Chat Prefix, Extra Coins, and a Golden Portal Frame. The double harvest chance should be helpful for getting seeds from your bushes, but I can't confirm this for sure.

The final method to get one would be to create a second Roblox account and then grab the seed from the island to give to your main account. You'd have to have an alternative way to play Roblox like with a mobile device, but it's a pretty easy way to do it if you are desperate.

Update: It looks like they made it so you have to wait 20 minutes to drop a berry seed when you start a new account. So, while you can still do this method, it will just be a lot slower.

Be careful with giving anyone permission to come to your island that you don't know! They could potentially take your Berry Bush for the seed and leave you without one at all.
