To complete The Hunt Mega Edition event quest in A Dusty Trip and get the Regular Token Badge, you must play the new game mode from the lobby (Highlands map) and defeat three bosses. Here is how you can find and defeat each of the bosses.

How to Find and Beat the Lumberjack Boss

To start, you have to fix your car and start driving to the right. When you drive, you will come across a lumber area at around the 1,000-kilometer mark. Once you enter this area, you will be greeted by the lumberjack boss, who has three different attacks.

  • The first attack is the axe throw, which you can avoid by sprinting sideways. Just don't go back the other direction immediately, since the axe goes back to the lumber.
  • The second attack is growing and falling trees from the sides. When he does that, look for an empty spot where there is no red lines to stay safe, or run towards the edge of where the tree would fall to be completely safe.
  • The third attack is a series of circular saws that spread out in all directions from one spot. To avoid these, keep an eye on their path and sprint in between them. These attacks start when the lumberjack throws the axe in the ground, so keep an eye out to see where the next attack will come from.
  • When the lumberjack loses his axe and his invincibility while crying, pick up the AK-47 that spawns and shoot.
  • Repeat the process.

How to Find and Defeat the Lava Boss

Start driving, and at around the 2,000-kilometer mark, you'll find yourself in the mines. Approach the lava where the next boss will appear. The lava boss has four attacks and four similar phases. First, avoid his attacks, and when he is vulnerable, shoot to defeat him. Here are all his attacks and how to avoid them.

  • The first attack will be falling rocks with shockwaves. There will be many falling rocks, followed by circular red shockwaves, that you will have to avoid by jumping over them.
  • After that, he will start throwing C4s at you, which will explode on the ground or on impact. Sprint sideways to avoid these.
  • Next, he will spawn his minions, and you will also get an AK-47 to defeat them. Sprint away from them and kill them to move to the last attack.
  • Lastly, with this attack, there will be smaller and faster falling rocks. There will be a lot of them, so you will have to keep sprinting and stopping to manage stamina until the attack ends when one of these rocks hits the boss in the head. This is when he becomes vulnerable and open to attack.

Once you defeat this boss, immediately get in the car and drive out of the mines as fast as you can since the whole area will start to fall apart, and you will be crushed if you are not fast enough. Be careful how you drive, if you get flipped around in the tight tunnels, you won't be able to save it.

How to find and defeat the Ice King Boss

Lastly, we have the Ice King boss, whom you will come across at the 3,000-kilometer mark. He has five attacks and three phases. Here is how to avoid all of them.

  • The first attack is flying ice cubes. You have to run sideways to avoid them, but they are very fast, so be on your toes.
  • Next, there will be ice spikes, which will rise from the ground at marked locations. To avoid them, stay away from the marked locations or jump to a safe spot if you are already standing at a marked location.
  • He also shoots you with a flurry of icicles in the similar fashion to the axe and the C4 with the previous two bosses. Quickly move sideways to dodge them.
  • For this one, he sends his minions, whom you can defeat with the provided AK.
  • Lastly, there will be blizzards, but that only happens in the last phase. You can avoid them by running away from them and keeping yourself in an open space to leave room for movement.

Once you defeat the Ice King Boss, you will be rewarded with The Hunt Mega Edition event Badge in A Dusty Trip.

How to get the Mega Token in A Dusty Trip

There are a few requirements you need to complete before you can get the seventh Mega Token. First, you need to have the Tile Zone Badge. You can get it after you complete the Block Zone Puzzle and enter the new area in the Hub. Second, you need to get all of the previous Mega Tokens in an exact order like in our list below.

  1. SpongeBob TD
  2. Unlimited Tag Game
  3. Pressure
  4. Chained 2 Player Obby
  5. Rivals
  6. Clip It
  7. World Zero

When you have everything, enter the Hunt Mode (Highlands map) from the lobby. This quest can be accomplished either solo or in a team. Solo will take you longer, so it's always better to at least do it in a duo if you can't have a full four stack. However, if just one person doesn't fulfil all the requirements, that means that the obby won't spawn, so be careful who you choose to play with. You can ask in the lobby if anyone is doing the Mega Quest.

You don't even have to fix the car since you aren't going far. Just get in and drive to the 250m mark, where you'll see an Obby course on the left side of the road. The goal is to pick up each of the batteries (11 in total) and bring them to the top where you will assemble them into a portal gate.

The trick with the batteries is that they explode when you hold them for too long. You can tell this when the yellow light is blinking faster and the beeping becomes urgent. To avoid getting exploded, you can place down the battery quickly to reset it, then pick it back up. If you get exploded a few times, you'll die and have to restart everything, so try to avoid that.

The batteries can be a bit difficult to find. It's easier to complete the Obby in the daylight since you can scout out the sides of the obby and check if there is a ledge somewhere with a battery. If you're missing one, then it's probably the one in the bush right next to the start of the obby.

To place some of the batteries in the gate, you will have to jump up. Just make sure to time it perfectly or the battery could fall back down to the ground (I know how annoying that is, happened to me a few times). When all batteries are placed, the portal will open up and suck you in.

You'll find yourself somewhere lost in time. After the cutscene, press the big Red button on the computer desk, and you'll start up the boss battle with Mecha Dr.Zero

How to Defeat Mecha Dr.Zero in A Dusty Trip

You'll battle Mecha Dr.Zero in two stages. The first one is difficult on its own, but in the second stage he is even more powerful. He deals quite a bit of damage with all of his attacks.

One way to cheese it and avoid getting any damage at all in both stages is to go behind the tube where the Mecha was and jump onto the chain. So long as you are on the second link high up, nothing should be hitting you. Only jump down from this safe spot to pick up an AK and to shoot at the doctor when he experiences failure. The rifle has infinite ammo so once you have it, you don't have to grab any of the others.

If you want to challenge yourself and play it true and proper, here is exactly what the attacks look like in both stages of the battle.

  • In stage 1, there will be plenty of missiles coming your way. Keep track of them by the big red circles on the ground and dodge out of the way.
  • Another attack that he likes to do is a laser beam. This attack is the same as the axe, C4 and icicle throws in the regular token hunt, so you should already be good at avoiding them.
  • Once these attacks are done, the fist AK-47 will spawn in (with infinite ammo), but so will the minions. Keep moving and shooting them down. Mecha Dr.Zero is the only boss who will switch to the next phase while you are still being chased by the minions. Make sure to get rid of them quickly or you run the risk of ending up in a cutscene and vulnerable to attacks (he killed me like that once).
  • When he experiences a system failure, it's your turn to attack. Unload as many bullets in him as you can, then get ready to do it all over again until he reaches the second stage.

  • As I mentioned, Mecha Dr.Zero is even more aggressive during the second stage. All of his attacks last longer and have a bigger range and damage area. Your reflexes have to be even quicker than before (or you can just climb onto the chain and ride it out).
  • He will still experience system failure here, so when he isn't invincible anymore, keep shooting until you get his health down to zero.
