OSRS - How to get Blue Moon Spear

If you want to get your hands on the Blue Moon Spear in OSRS, you’ll need to head to the Neypotzli dungeon that you’ll find below Ralos’ Rise in the region of Varlamore. If you haven’t been to this continent yet, check out my guide on how to get to Varlamore in OSRS.

Once in Varlamore, head west to the mountains, Ralo’s Rise. When you arrive at the dwarven town of Cam Torum in the mountains, you’ll meet Zuma and Attala. They will give you the mission Perilous Moons, which sees you heading into the Moons of Peril dungeon (also called Neypotzil).

During the quest through the dungeon, you’ll need to face the three Moons of Peril. When you defeat the three moons, you’ll be able to access the Lunar Chest, which is in the southeast room of the dungeon. There are 12 rare items available from the chest, including the Blue Moon Spear. There is only a five percent chance of getting one of the rare items, which means each dungeon clearance gives you a 1 in 240 chance of getting the Blue Moon Spear.

The Blue Moon Spear is a two-handed weapon requiring 70 Attack and 75 Magic to use. It can auto-cast elemental spells (from your Standard Spellbook) and combat spells (Ancient Magicks and Arceuus). If added to the full Blue Moon armor set, you’ll gain the Frostweaver effect and access to a special attack called Break Shackles. The other three pieces of the Blue Moon set are also available from the Lunar Chest.
