Apart from Factorio, my favorite factory simulation game of all time is Satisfactory. I love spending hours alone inside the game, carefully building machines to achieve my objectives. While playing alone is fun, it is even more engaging with your friends to build incredible infrastructure to run your factories. So, like most multiplayer games, the only way to play with friends is to upload your single-player world files to the server.
Where to find your Save Game Files in Satisfactory?
You can find your existing Satisfactory save game location from your Local App Data folder. To be more specific, you can find all your Satisfactory single-player save game files from the given location:
- C:\Users\YOURUSER\AppData\Local\FactoryGame\Saved\SaveGames.
Press Windows + E to open your File directory. Copy and paste the above folder directory in the folder search bar to reach the Satisfactory Saved Games location.

How to Transfer a Satisfactory Save File from Epic Games to Steam
Satisfactory was initially released on Epic Games as an Early Access title before releasing it on Steam. So, naturally, many players migrating from Epic Games to Steam to play with their friends need to copy their Saved Files from the Epic Games directory to the Steam directory.
- Reach the Saved Games location by using the above directory path.
- Inside your Saved Games folder, there will be two folders. Each of them will start with random serial numbers like 8093242 or 7157273024.
- One of these folders will contain .sav files, and the other will be empty.
- The folder that has these .sav files is the Epic Game directory, while the empty one represents your newly created Steam save games directory folder.
- Copy and paste the .sav files from the Epic folder to the empty Steam folder to transfer all your Saved Games.
- Open the game on Steam, and now you can find all your past saved games from the Load option.
