All Puzzle Solutions in Act 2 of Scorn

The second Act of Scorn sees players piecing together a cylindrical key at several different stations throughout the level. This is done while a parasite is watching and encounters the player a few times during the Act. By the end of the level, players will have to solve a puzzle with the fully assembled key to move forward. This is how to solve all the puzzles in Act 2 of Scorn.

How to solve the spinning puzzles in Scorn

The discs or spinning puzzles in Scorn have the player locking more parts onto their cylindrical key at various parts in the level. They need four parts total in order to activate a device back in the red egg room. To solve this puzzle players have to stop the disc when it reaches the correct point. There are six points in total and the player can rotate their key to any of those points while waiting for the disc to stop. When it is in the right place, players can press their use button and attach the disc to the key. If it continues to rotate around a particular part, players will have to see where the disc lines up with any of the remaining points and wait for it to come back around before attaching them.

How to solve the puzzle in the Red Room of Act 2 in Scorn

Once players have collected enough pieces for the key, they can slot in the key in the red room to solve another puzzle. The puzzle requires that all the lit up points align with the red points. This is how to get them all to match:

• Move all the pieces to the bottom layer without sliding them in
  • If players have already moved the pieces, they can all be straightened out by repeatedly pressing Up.
• Move one piece to the left
• Move to the top layer and go left once
• Move to the bottom layer again and go left once
• Move up twice, then left, then up twice

With the puzzle solved, the pod will hatch a creature and players will get another key and advance to the third Act of the game.
