What are Miracles in Shin Megami Tensei V?

Shin Megami Tensei V offers a variety of ways for players to upgrade their player character, including the Miracle system. These upgrades are integral to making the Nahobino more powerful, but what do Miracles do?

There are a variety of upgrades available for purchase in the World of Shadows. Miracles are passive buffs that the Nahobino can acquire from Sophia in the World of Shadows. These upgrades impact the performance and capabilities of both the Nahobino and his party members. Some of these upgrades bolster the Magatsuhi gauge’s recharge rate, while others can increase party member storage slots.

Players can select which Miracles to unlock by talking to Sophia and selecting the Apotheosis tab in the first menu of the World of Shadows. Next, select Learn Miracles. Here players can sift through the game’s many buffs and choose which ones they’d like to acquire. There are four tabs of Miracles, each with its specialties:

• Supremacy: Focuses on increases Magatsuhi Gauge and influences Demon behavior in conversations.
• Doctrine: Improves Essences, lowers summoning costs, and bolsters EXP gains for demons
• Awakening: Opens more skill slots and improve Demon potential
• Cosmos: Improves skill potential

Miracles cost Glory points to acquire, so players will have to track down Miman for Gustave to gain five Glory per Miman or track down Glory caches in silver chests scattered in the game’s open areas.
