The Sims 4 For Rent expansion lets you become a landlord

All you ever wished for from City Living.

EA just released the trailer for the upcoming apartment-renting expansion pack called For Rent. It looks quite promising at first glance, so I'll break down the trailer for you.

The Sims 4 For Rent expansion trailer looks like a sequel to the Sims 4 City Living expansion because while City Living is one of the best Sims 4 expansions, in my opinion, it was obviously lacking key features players would look for in an apartment-based expansion pack, due to the fact a player has to load into a different lot while visiting neighbors in the same apartment building on the same floor.

This new expansion pack seems to address all of this. Set in a new world named Tomarang, it looks like it's got a lot more character than the usual Sims 4 worlds, as it gives off a much more joyful and colorful appearance than usual. The world is full of multi-residential dwellings you can own, rent out, or simply live in, with terraces and common areas like night markets where Sims can socialize or get involved in various activities, letting you even break into other Sims apartments while they're out having fun.

Additionally, the expansion adds a plethora of new things, such as kettles, rice cookers, and new CAS items, on top of the tons of never-before-seen decor fitting the multicolored residential buildings. The trailer also showcases a new way of dying as a result of mold or fungus, giving your ghost a green hue.

The Sims 4 For Rent trailer looks great in my opinion, but so do all the Sims 4 expansion packs while offering little gameplay. If this time it's different, all of us are in for a treat.
