Lunaris is a powerful Pal you'll encounter as a field boss in Palworld. Here's where you can find Lunaris in Palworld and the best way to defeat it.

Lunaris is a field boss located at -147, -660 in Sea Breeze Archipelago, a collection of small islands in the southeastern portion of the map. If you haven't been to Sea Breeze Archipelago yet, the easiest way to get there is to travel directly south from the Sealed Realm of the Swordmaster fast travel point in Bamboo Groves. Alternatively, you can head southeast from the Small Settlement in Windswept Hills.

Rather than roaming around in the wild, Lunaris spawns in a dungeon room, so you'll have to fight it in an enclosed space. This makes its ranged attacks much more dangerous because you'll have less room to dodge them.

One of the best ways to beat Lunaris in Palworld is to have a type advantage against it. Lunaris is a Neutral Pal, so I highly recommend having at least one Dark Pal in your party. Some of the best Pals to take on Lunaris include:

  • Felbat (Dark
  • Maraith (Dark)
  • Vanwyrm (Fire/Dark)
  • Tombat (Dark)
  • Menasting (Ground/Dark)
  • Daedream (Dark)

Like other Neutral Pals, Lunaris has a diverse moveset. When building your party members for this battle, it's important to consider how their types will be affected. Lunaris's moves, along with their types and attack power, are as follows:

  • Power Bomb (Neutral, 70)
  • Plasma Tornado (Electric, 65)
  • Icicle Cutter (Ice, 55)

While Neutral doesn't have any type advantages, Electric and Ice are strong against Water and Dragon Pals, respectively. As such, avoid bringing Water or Dragon Pals to the fight, as Lunaris will easily take them out. Furthermore, all three of these attacks are ranged, allowing Lunaris to deal damage from afar. Bring ranged weapons of your own to give yourself enough time to dodge Lunaris's attacks.
