As you blaze across the world as Sonic in Sonic Frontiers, you will constantly pick up items and collectibles. These items can be foraged from the open world or by participating in various mini-games. One of the most valuable items you might collect is the Gold Card, which you can find in chests that you dredge up by playing the fishing mini-game from Big the Cat. This guide will tell you how to obtain Gold Cards and use them in Sonic Frontiers.
How to obtain Gold Cards in Sonic Frontiers
Players can obtain Gold Cards in Sonic Frontiers by playing the fishing mini-game found in Fishing Spots around the map. You can find these Fishing Spots by locating Purple Portals on the map. Accessing this portal will transmit you to a digital dimension where you can find Big the Cat standing by a lake. To start fishing, you need to interact with Big the Cat, who will give you a fishing rod in exchange for Purple Coins. Each cast of the line costs one Purple Coin, so be sure to collect as many as possible before going to Big the Cat.
Players can obtain rewards like fish, rings, and treasure boxes by playing the fishing mini-game. Gold Cards can be found by collecting Treasure Boxes from fishing. Players may also find a Golden Treasure Box with three Gold Cards instead of one.
How to use Gold Tickets in Sonic Frontiers
Gold Tickets, otherwise known as Gold Cards in Sonic Frontiers, can be used to purchase any item, regardless of its price, from Big the Cat's offerings in the Trade Tokens menu. Ideally, you should only spend these valuable Gold Cards to purchase high-cost items like an Egg Memo or the Emerald Vault Key, both of which cost 15 Treasure Tokens otherwise. The following is a list of items you can purchase from Big the Cat in exchange for Treasure Tokens or Gold Cards.
|+50 Skill Pieces||1|
|+20 Lost Koco||3|
|Blue Seed Of Defense||2|
|Red Seed Of Power||2|
|Chaos Emerald Vault Key||15|
