In Stardew Valley, it can be a hassle trying to figure out which crops net you the most profit each season. To make it easy for you, we have determined the top three performing crops for the in-game Fall season and listed them below.
The list we provide is based on the three crops with the highest Daily Profit. This is because calculating based on the profit for each crop itself often yields deceptive results. There may be a crop that shows negative profit, but can produce multiple yields. Here are the top three crops for the Fall.
Cranberries
Cranberries are the surprise leader for Fall Crops. They have a net loss if they're only harvested once, but they have the highest daily profit if planted and harvested regularly throughout the season. If planted on Fall 1, they can be harvested five times before Winter, netting you a nice purse of 510 gold for each planted crop. The daily profit for Cranberries is 18.89 gold.
The downside to Cranberries, however, is that you must be punctual in harvesting them. If you miss a harvest or forget to water them even one day, you'll only be able to harvest them four times, knocking their daily profit from 18.89 to 13.33. Still, considering the effort put in, this is by far the best Crop to plant during Fall.
Pumpkins
Pumpkins are the only item on this list that don't grown on a trellis. They are also the most expensive seed to plant. However, that expense yields great profit when they are finished growing. Each seed costs 100 and a full plant sells for 320. They finish growing in 13 days, so a single patch can grow two Pumpkins per season, which leads to a season profit of 440 gold. The daily profit for Pumpkins is 16.92 gold.
Grapes
Grapes require minimal input to harvest all season. They grow on a trellis and yield multiple harvests for each season. The seeds cost 60 gold, and each harvest sells for 80 gold. They take 10 days to grow to maturity, but can be harvested every three days after that, for a total of six harvests. They require less punctuality than Cranberries since they will yield their maximum season harvest over 25 days. The daily profit for Grapes is 16.8 gold.
Additional Information
An important note about the list above: There are some special crops that net a much higher profit margin than any of the crops listed on this guide. We have opted not to include these because they are usually only obtainable through special means. We have also not included any crops that can grow in more than two seasons.
For reference, we have included a chart that lists all the crops for Fall, as well as some information about them that helped us determine which ones had the highest profit. Note that any Crop colored purple can yield multiple harvests.

* Daily Profit is calculated using a formula that requires them to be planted on the first day of the season.
** Cranberries get the highest profit for fall only if you harvest them throughout the entire season and don't miss any days.
*** Sunflowers can only be harvested once, but drop 0-2 Sunflower Seeds with each harvest, which is why the first seed is so expensive. The amount of seeds you collect for each harvest is usually 75 to 90 percent of the number of Sunflowers harvested.
