Highest Profit Summer Crops in Stardew Valley

Check out the list below to see how to make the most money during the Summer season!

In Stardew Valley, it can be a hassle trying to figure out which crops net you the most profit each season. To make it easy for you, we have determined the top three performing crops for the in-game Summer season and listed them below.

The list we provide is based on the three crops with the highest Daily Profit. This is because calculating based on the profit for each crop itself often yields deceptive results. There may be a crop that shows negative profit, but can produce multiple yields. Here are the top three crops for Summer.

Starfruit

Strawberries take 13 days to grow, but they provide the highest profit out of all Summer crops (unless you're using a greenhouse). The seeds cost 400 gold, but a harvested Starfruit can be sold for a minimum of 750 gold, which is a sweet 350 gold profit. Except for special crops like the Sweet Gem Berry, this is the highest selling single-harvest crop in the game. The daily profit for Starfruit is 26.92 gold.

Blueberries

Blueberries might not be the highest profiting crop if planted only in the summer, but they are the best crop to plant when considering the time and effort. Blueberry bushes take 13 days to mature and continue to produce a minimum of three blueberries every four days once they're harvested.

They can be harvested all season, so you only need to buy the seeds once, then water them every day to turn a profit. The daily profit for Blueberries is 20.8 gold.

Red Cabbage

Red Cabbage is another single-harvest crop that takes a long time to grow but produces a high reward. The biggest downside to this crop is that they're unavailable until Year 2. Once you are in Year 2, you can purchase the seeds for 100 gold and harvest them nine days later to sell them for a minimum of 260 gold. The daily profit for Red Cabbage is 17.78 gold.

Special Mention: Coffee Beans

Coffee Beans are technically the most profitable crops in the game, and they can grow in the Spring or Summer. One coffee bean yields four more coffee beans with each harvest. Once matured, they only take two days to regrow after each harvest. Since each harvested coffee bean acts as its own seed for a new coffee plant, the best way to profit from them is to use the first year to get as many coffee beans as possible, then use them to mass produce coffee beans in the second year.

Coffee Beans can be dropped by Dust Mites (1% chance), or sold by the Travelling Merchant for 2500 gold. Five Coffee Beans can be placed into a keg to turn them into coffee, which sells for 150 gold. Since creating a coffee farm really only requires an initial investment of 2500 gold (unless a Dust Mite drops it for you), it's considered the most profitable crop.

That should cover everything you need to know about netting the highest profit for Summer! Be sure to check out our other helpful guides for Stardew Valley!
