In Starfield, players have a vast galaxy to explore with different planets that have a variety of flora, fauna, and natural resources. Akila is the second planet in the Cheyenne system, where you will find an abundance of resources, wildlife, and plants. Likewise, you need to know how to complete a 100% survey of this planet by discovering all the resources, flora, fauna, and planetary traits, so here's how you can get 100% Survey Data on Akila in Starfield.
How to 100% Survey Planet Akila - Starfield
In Starfield, players can survey planets by using a unique scanning mechanic while orbiting the planet. This allows them to check the planets for resources, flora, fauna, temperature, water, and other important elements. If you are in need of a specific resource or plant, this feature allows you to quickly search through the planets, thus saving time.
To fully survey a planet, players need to find all the resources, flora, fauna, and planetary traits. After completing a 100% survey of planet Akila, the above image is what you should see while orbiting the planet.
Once you have completed surveying planets, return to Vladamir at the Eye or the Lodge to sell planetary survey data. This allows you to get some extra Credits by simply completing 100% surveys on different planets.

Flying Leech
The Flying Leech gives Cosmetic resources and can be found in the Frozen Plains on planet Akila. This animal flies above the ground which makes it extremely tricky to spot. If you have the Sense Star Stuff (starborn power) use it to detect life forms nearby. I would also recommend increasing the range of your scanner by leveling up specific skills.
Crawling Eurypterid
The Crawling Eurypterid gives Aromatic resources and can be found in the Frozen Plains and Coniferous Forest on planet Akila. This animal is exceptionally small and crawls on the ground making it difficult to track. Search around the areas with a high density of animal life forms to find the Crawling Eurypterid.
Baleen Rotifer
The Baleen Rotifer gives Antimicrobial resources and can be found in these biomes: Frozen Plains and Savanna. This is another animal that flies above the ground, and it is easy to mix up with the Flying Leech. I would recommend using your jet pack to gain height for spotting these creatures. I found them in flocks of three at the aforementioned biomes.
Grazing Ensifer
The Grazing Ensifer gives Toxins as a resource and can be found in the Coniferous Forest and Savanna biomes on planet Akila.
Mossgnath
The Mossgnath provides a Hallucinogen resource and can be found in the Savanna biome on planet Akila.
Buzzrunner
The Buzzrunner provides a resource called Sealant and can be found in the Coniferous Forest.
Rainbow Agnathan
The Rainbow Agnathan provides a Solvent resource and can be found in the Ocean biome on planet Akila. To find life forms in the ocean, land at the edge of a biome where you'll see the Coastal region pop up. For instance, you can go to the Coniferous Forest (Coastal) area to scout for this creature. After landing, go to the beach and use your scanner to search underwater. Be careful as the water on this planet is contaminated with chemicals, so spending too much time swimming depletes health.
Dropsalm
The Dropsalm provides Structural resources and can be found in the Coniferous Forest on planet Akila. This is another elusive animal that can be tricky to find while surveying the area. Dropsalms tend to hunt other animals like the Grazing Ensifer, Buzzrunner, and Elk Crangon. Find a good scouting point and search the areas nearby in the Coniferous Forest to find this creature.
