When can I expect my Steam Deck to arrive?

It's ultimately up to chance.

Valve's Steam Deck is one of the most anticipated pieces of hardware launching in 2022. The device allows players to access and enjoy their Steam library from the comfort of a handheld computer. It's a coveted device that sold out when pre-ordered first went live. Valve is finally ready to release its product, but when will users get their portable PCs?

Because of the Steam Deck's staggered release, players will receive their Steam Decks at different times. You can check when your Steam Deck is expected by heading to the official Steam Deck page. Once on this page, scroll down to the Choose your Steam Deck section to see which version you pre-ordered, the date of the pre-order, and the expected order window.

Some users have noted getting an expected delivery in February 2022, while others have won't arrive until the second half of the year. It all depends on how high players are in the queue. If you're no longer interested in purchasing a Steam Deck, you can cancel your reservation from the same page by clicking the Cancel Reservation button.
