Street Fighter 6 M. Bison trailer breaks one million views in two days

Is this the finest fighter the world has to offer?

Just when you think that the Street Fighter 6 success story can't get better, a new fighter comes along to save the day (and the player's interest in the game). This time, M. Bison was the one to break the records. His gameplay trailer has over a million views in just two days—and for good reason.

Fans were surprised when they saw their favorite bad guy returning to the franchise. Not everyone was sure that this was a good thing, as JP proved to be a great villain. But instead of M. Bison wasting away as some form of redundant heel, he came back with a twist. Well, with amnesia, to be more precise. That's why you see him looking nothing like the dominant dictator everyone feared. He may have forgotten who he is, but we remember!

As seen in a trailer, M. Bison is now fond of horses and rugged riding-hoods. While he may have forgotten his dress code, he sure didn't forget to fight. He still employs powerful kicks and charged attacks, but is that enough to convince the fan base that his return is valid?

Interestingly, the community was divided on the importance of the Bison's arrival. Some were critical of his look, calling him Meth Bison, but that only confirms that his return to the franchise was a great decision. Capcom knows that Street Fighter 2 and its classic characters are legends that will always turn heads. The incredible million views for the big-bad-Bison trailer confirm that he's still the series' most famous villain.

Street Fighter 6 is doing everything possible to keep the title of the best SF game away from Street Fighter 2 (sorry, not happening). M. Bison is coming to SF6 on June 24, 2024, followed by Terry in autumn 2024, Mai in winter 2025, and Elena in spring 2025.
