Super Robot Wars 30 is the first game in the series to have a simultaneous release on Steam in English. It’s a milestone for the series and great news for English-speaking fans of the game. But can fans, who’ve had to play the game’s earlier entries on Nintendo Switch or other consoles, enjoy the game on the controller on Steam.
The good news is that the game has full controller support on Steam. If you’re an avid PC controller player, you’ll be able to adapt quickly. Or, if you’ve played the series on console up until now, your move to PC will be seamless.
Steam even has instant native support. The game has default controller settings that will automatically load if you have a controller plugged in when the game launches. Beyond that, you’re able to customize the controller options.
To do this, you’ll have to use the Steam controller settings menu. Access Settings by clicking Steam in the top right corner of the Steam program. From there, go to General Controller Settings, and you’re able to make your own controller layout.Â
This way, you’re able to adapt the controller settings to whatever you’re used to. Enjoy playing Super Robot Wars 30 with the gamepad!
