How to rest in Tales of Arise

Here's how to rest in Tales of Arise.

If you want to rest to restore health or CP in Tales of Arise, you will need to do so at one of the various campsites that you can find throughout the game.

Along with campsites, players can also rest in Inns found in the various towns or safe areas in the game. If you want to rest at an Inn, they are in towns like Ulbzebek, enter it and speak to the owner to use a bed.

However, the main method of resting in the game is through camps and can be very useful when you need quick healing or want to gain powerful buffs.

You can gain powerful buffs by resting at camps when you unlock cooking. Every time you rest at a camp, a cooking tab will appear where you can use various materials and resources you find through the game world to make cooking recipes.

Each recipe requires different materials and offers a unique bonus such as boosting defense, XP gain, and health or attack damage.

You will also need to unlock most of the recipes you can make at campsites. To unlock more recipes, you can complete quests and find them as you play the game.
