How to explore the Tomb of Ita in the Tears of Themis Secrets of the Tomb event

Explore the ancient ruins with your favorite male lead.

The Tears of Themis Secrets of the Tomb event runs from April 29, 2022, to May 20, 2022. One of the main objectives is to explore the Tomb of Ita, which can be unlocked after completing the first part of the story by clicking on the event button above the X-Note.

Exploring the Tomb of Ita doesn't cost AP, but it takes a lot of time to farm Antiquated Coins, so it's best to start early to reap all the rewards.

Exploring the Tomb of Ita

Click on the Explore button at the bottom-right of the screen to start. Then, select a male lead to accompany you into the ruins. Each male lead has a unique skill that can help make exploration a lot easier—you can choose whoever you prefer.

Your goal is to find the exit by clearing all obstacles along the way while also collecting as many Antiquated Coins as possible. Slide the directional keys on the bottom-left to move and click on the hand button on the right to interact with objects.

There are a few obstacles and bonuses that you can encounter along the way:

  1. Rubble: costs 1 Energy, grants 1 Exploration Point
  2. Rubble with tombstone: costs 3 Energy, grants 3 Exploration Points
  3. Rubble with treasure: costs 5 Energy, grants 6 Exploration Points
  4. Gold Nugget: grants 20 Exploration Points
  5. Event: grants a random buff or takes you to a mysterious map
  6. Backpack: grants a random archaeological tool

Some items may be hidden inside blobs. The only way to see through them is to have the archaeological tool called the Lost TS Data, which allows you to see through all hidden items on the map. This can only be obtained at random. As a result, it may be difficult to find the exit in some floors.

Upon entering the Tomb of Ita, you will be assigned to a random map. There are five maps in total with different numbers of floors in each. You need to find the exit, which looks like a hole that leads farther underground, to progress.

However, keep in mind that digging rubble costs Energy. You're allotted 50 Energy at the start of each round, but bonuses can help replenish it. Make sure to use the male lead's skill once per floor to maximize it.

If you run out of Energy, you need to stop exploring by clicking on the back button at the upper-left of the screen. The exploration will end, and you'll receive rewards based on your progress.

Antiquated Coins can be exchanged at the Khaimit Market by clicking on the upper-right of the event screen. Meanwhile, increasing your Exploration level allows you to level up skills to make the Tomb of Ita easier to explore. It will also unlock various items in the Rubris Museum and complete Tasks that will grant you even more rewards.
