Tears of Themis Love in Flight web event guide

Valentine's Day—the most important event of the year—is just around the corner.

The Love in Flight web event runs from Feb. 9, 2022, to Feb. 24, 2022. Participants can obtain S-Chips, Energy Drink Family Packs, Oracle of Justice III, and Stellin for completing Achievements within the event.

The mechanics are fairly simple: play a Flappy Bird-like game to win rewards. There are no resource costs to participate, and it only takes a few minutes to get all the rewards, so don't forget to give the web event a try while it's running!

How to Access the Web Event

Access the web event through the official link on mihoyo.com, which was shared on the Tears of Themis Twitter page. From there, log in to the game and select the right user to ensure that all rewards are directed to your in-game account.

How to Play

Screenshot by Pro Game Guides

You play as an intel bird who helps the postal workers deliver love letters to the country's romantics. The game has one objective: don't get hit by the buildings or banners by staying in mid-air at all times. If you don't do anything to control the bird, it will go on a free-fall—a Game Over for you.

Control the bird using the Space key on your keyboard. Hitting it once will prompt the bird to slightly jump. Your goal is to keep making micro jumps to maintain the bird's position mid-air as it delivers letters.

Special items

Successfully passing through a building will grant you one point. However, you can get more points by picking up items along the way:

  • Chocolates: +1 point
  • Flowers: +2 points
  • Gift Box: +3 points

Buffs

The male leads are always there to protect you—regardless of whether you're Rosa or a delivery bird. Picking up their buffs will grant you the following bonuses:

  • Luke's Protection: clear five obstacles (banners only, not buildings) ahead
  • Artem's Protection: you won't lose HP the first time you hit an obstacle within the next 10 levels. If you don't hit any obstacles, the buff will wear off after passing 10 obstacles.
  • Vyn's Protection: Gift Boxes will appear within the next five levels.
  • Marius' Protection: become invincible for the next five levels.

Invite Friends to Get HP

Click on the Friend Assist button to share your Invite Code and special game link with friends. When a friend opens the link, they can confirm assistance—and you'll receive one HP as a reward. You can receive up to three HP from friends who assist you and one HP (per day) by assisting others.

Having HP prevents you from failing the game despite hitting an obstacle or free-falling. Each HP is used up for every instance of "death."

Rewards

Rewards can be obtained by completing Achievements. You can unlock all four levels by getting a score of 100 from a single game. They need to be manually claimed from the My Rewards section of the web event page and then claimed from your Mailbox in-game. Don't forget to claim your rewards before the event ends!
