Even though an NPC named Helenya explains how to upgrade the character stats in The Last Faith, players are unaware she is the only NPC available for upgrading, often leading to backtracking for hours as they usually forget her location.
Where is Lady Helenya in The Last Faith? (Map Location)
You can find Helenya at the entrance of Oxneveylle's Manor in Broken Pass. To quickly reach her, teleport to Oxneveylle's Great Hall and exit the castle to find her sitting at the end of a broken wagoncart.
Please bookmark the location on the map using any tag of your choice, as you must constantly revisit the NPC regularly to upgrade stats.

How to upgrade your character stats in The Last Faith
To upgrade your character in The Last Faith, you need Nycrux—items you acquire automatically after slaying any creatures or bosses. Once you have enough, visit Lady Helenya choose the attribute you want to upgrade, and pay the Nycrux fee—the higher the level, the more the Nycrux. For example, scaling your Vitality stat to level 11 only requires 500 Nycrux, whereas upgrading to level 14 will require nearly 700 Nycrux. So, use your Nycrux carefully and upgrade stats that match your gameplay style.
All stat upgrades in The Last Faith
- Vitality: Increasing the Vitality stat will improve overall health meter and damage-taking capacity. Additionally, it also scales your resistance toward bleeding-based attacks.
- Strength: Indicative of its name, improving strength will help you carry heavier weapons in your right hand. Also, you gain more resistance toward frost-type moves.
- Dexterity: The Dexterity stat improves the swiftness of your character's right-hand weapons. It also increases your avatar's resistance against burn-based attacks.
- Mind: The stat increases the overall focus of your character during battle and helps you connect all of your firearm/magic-style attacks. You also gain resistance against dark type by improving this stat.
- Instinct: Instinct determines the fate of your character in unique scenarios. You also gain resistance against electrocution through this stat.
As mentioned above, I highly recommend improving stats based on your gameplay and weaknesses. Still, I recommend increasing your Dexterity and Vitality to increase your resistance against bleeding & burn attacks, as they are a nuisance during your initial/mid-game.
