Repairing items in LOTR Return to Moria requires you to build a Repair Smithy. You can build a Repair Smithy using five iron ingots, which you can make using iron ore. After you find or make Iron ore, you can build a Repair Smithy by opening the Build Menu. You can open the Build Menu by hitting ESC and selecting the Build Menu via its icon shown below:

Once you find the Build Menu, scroll down until you see Handycraft under the Essentials and Crafting tab. Under Handycraft, you'll find the option to build and place the Repair Smithy. Select the Repair Smithy by pressing the left mouse button and then place it down anywhere in your base.

How to make Iron Ingots in Lord of the Rings Return to Moria

To make iron ingots in Return to Moria, you must mine iron ore via iron ore deposits. You can find iron ore deposits by exploring Moria's various tunnels and Dwarven ruins. Iron ore also commonly spawns from around 200 fathoms deep and below. Once you find an iron ore deposit, you can mine it for ore using a simple pickaxe or better.

After mining the iron ore, you can make them into ingots via a Furnace. To make a furnace, you must be at a camp or stone hearth and use over 20 stone blocks. When you build your new Furnace, you can melt three iron ore into one iron ingot. However, you will need at least one coal resource to fuel the Furnace. Luckily, you can find and mine coal via coal deposits starting from 200 fathoms deep and below.
