We recommend that you preload Total War: Warhammer 3 early so that you can start playing on release day. It's a good idea to start downloading as soon as possible because the game's file size is about 120GB.

Steps to Preload Total War: Warhammer 3 

Microsoft Store

  1. You can access the Microsoft Store by pressing the Windows key and searching for Store on the bottom left.
  2. Use the search box at the top of the window to search for Total War: WARHAMMER 3.
  3. To download the game files, click the Install button.

PC Game Pass

  1. Open the Xbox App by pressing the Windows key and searching for Xbox on the bottom left
  2. Search for Total War: WARHAMMER III.
  3. Press the Pre-Install button.
  4. Select your preferred installation drive and click the Install button.

Steam

  1. Open your Steam app.
  2. Find Total War: WARHAMMER 3 in your library.
  3. Click the INSTALL button.

Epic Games

Epic Games does not allow you to preload Total War: Warhammer 3.
