The beloved free MMORPG Tower of Fantasy is set to add more excitement to its world with the introduction of Yanuo, who is the latest simulacrum announced by Level Infinite and Hotta Studio. We will get the chance to play her in the game on February 20, 2024.
Yanuo is a seemingly ordinary, kind, and warm-hearted girl, but that's not the case, as she is one of the spies of the Heirs of Aida planted in Hykros. She becomes best friends with Brevey in hopes of accessing confidential information while hiding her true nature through role-playing.

In the trailer, we see Yanuo betraying Brevey and the process of how she hacked the entire system of Hykros to get what she wants. Yanuo ends up shooting Brevey with a lovely twist at the end of the trailer. The trailer was well received among fans, with one of the top comments saying, "Damn… Hotta actually made it."
Some fans are also considering returning to the game to pull Yanuo and see how she plays out. Overall, the reveal of Yanuo and the trailer combined give me some hope that Tower of Fantasy can be good.
The issue of rushing the release of the game and its updates made things less polished, but this doesn't seem to be the case with this update. This makes me and a lot of other players have faith that Tower of Fantasy will be better, so we'll see.
