Players can choose from various races, specializations, and perks in Trigon: Space Story. We will first cover each specialization and the benefits that come with it, followed by each race and its benefits.

There are seven specializations in the game, each with its own perks. All level 1 perks are the same except for a few unique ones for warriors.

Level 1 perks

  • Hulk - Health increases by 50.
  • Assault Body Armor - Incoming Damage is reduced by 25%.
  • Sprinter - Movement speed increases by one point.

Shield Operator

Shield recovery is increased by 1 point a second, and the shields charge 25% faster when a crewmate with this specialization is in the Weapons Operator position. Below are the perks specific to this specialization:

  • Shield Operator Level 2
    • Shield Expert - Maximum shield capacity increases by 10 points for each point of generator energy supplied.
      • This crewmate must be in the Shield Operator's position.
    • Shield Master - After recharging, the shield switches on with a 100% charge.
      • This crewmate must be in the Shield Operator's position.
  • Shield Operator Level 3
    • Shield Overload - Instantly doubles the current shield value. This also doubles the maximum shield value for 30 seconds.
      • Consumes 1 fuel.
      • This crewmate must be in the Shield Operator's position.
    • Raise Shields - Instantly restores 100% of the shield on your ship.
      • Consumes 1 fuel.
      • This crewmate must be in the Shield Operator's position.
    • Shield Boost - Increases shield recovery rate by 10 points per second for 30 seconds.
      • Consumes 1 fuel.
      • This crewmate must be in the Shield Operator's position.

Hyperdrive Operator

The Hyperdrive charges 25% faster when a crewmate with this specialization is in the Hyperdrive Operator position. Below are the perks specific to this specialization:

  • Hyperdrive Operator Level 2
    • Master Mechanic - Adds 1 point of energy.
      • This crewmate must be in the Hyperdrive Operator's position.
    • Hyperdrive Expert - Hyperdrive will be fully charged when entering a new system with a combat phase.
      • This crewmate must be in the Hyperdrive Operator's position.
  • Hyperdrive Operator Level 3
    • Acceleration - Your ship's evasion increases by 20% for 10 seconds.
      • This crewmate must be in the Hyperdrive Operator's position.
    • Off We Go! - Instantly charges the Hyperdrive.
      • Consumes 2 fuel.
      • This crewmate must be in the Hyperdrive Operator's position.

Weapons Operator

Weapons charge 25% faster when a crewmate with this specialization is in the Weapons Operator position. Below are the perks specific to this specialization:

  • Weapons Operator Level 2
    • Master Gunner - Each shot has a 20% probability of dealing double damage.
      • This crewmate must be in the Weapon Operator's position.
    • Weapon Expert - All weapons have a 20% probability of becoming instantly charged.
      • This crewmate must be in the Weapons Operator's position.
  • Weapons Operator Level 3
    • Bullseye - Accuracy increases to 1000% for 10 seconds.
      • This crewmate must be in the Weapon Operator's position.
    • Rapid Fire - Weapons charge twice as fast.
      • This crewmate must be in the Weapon Operator's position.
    • Harpoon - The next hit on an enemy ship completely resets its Hyperdrive charge.
      • This consumes 2 fuel.
      • This crewmate must be in the Weapon Operator's position.

Pilot

The ship's evasion increase by 12% when a crewmate with this specialization is in the Bridge. Below are the perks specific to this specialization:

  • Pilot Level 2
    • Natural Born Ace - Hull damage is halved.
      • This crewmate must be in the Bridge Operator's position.
    • Steady Hand - Evasion increases by 0.2% for every 1% of HP the ship loses.
      • This crewmate must be in the Bridge Operator's position.
  • Pilot Level 3
    • Battle Run - The evasion of your ship and the selected enemy ship drops to zero for 10 seconds.
      • This crewmate must be in the Bridge Operator's position.
    • Maneuvering - The ship's evasion increases by 50% for 10 seconds.
      • This crewmate must be in the Weapon Operator's position.

Engineer

The Engineer can repair and extinguish fires 100% faster. Below are the perks specific to this specialization:

  • Engineer level 2
    • Electrician - Adds 2 points of energy to whatever system they're in.
    • Technician - Protects 100% of system levels from EMP in whatever system they're in.
    • Master Engineer - Adds 2 levels to whatever system they're in.
  • Engineer Level 3
    • Shield Block - Temporarily blocks 4 points of shield generator energy on the enemy ship.
      • Consumes 4 scrap.
      • This crewmate must be in the Sensor Operator's position.
    • Targeting System Jammer - Temporarily blocks 4 points of weapons generator energy on the enemy ship.
      • Consumes 4 scrap.
      • This crewmate must be in the Sensor Operator's position.
    • Earthing - Removes all EMP damage on the ship.
      • Consumes 6 scrap.
    • Sprinkler System - Instantly extinguishes all fires on the ship.
      • Consumes 4 supplies.
      • This crewmate must be in the Airlock Operator's position.
    • Backup Power - Instantly extinguishes all fires on the ship.
      • Consumes 1 fuel.
      • Adds 4 points of energy to the reactor for 60 seconds.

Medic

The Medbay restores 2 more HP a second when a crewmate with this specialization is in the Medbay. Below are the perks specific to this specialization:

  • Medic level 2
    • Combat Medic - Restores 2 HP every second of all friendly crew members in the same room.
    • Ship's Doctor - Restores 0.5 HP every second of all friendly crew members on the ship.
      • This crewmate must be in the Medbay.
  • Medic Level 3
    • Treatment - Restores 5 HP every second of all crew members in the same room.
      • Consumes 2 supplies
    • Resuscitation - Resurrects a friendly unit on the same ship to 50% health.
      • Consumes 10 scrap
      • Consumes 1 fuel
    • Emergency Aid - Instantly restores 50 HP of the friendly unit with the lowest HP on the same ship.
      • Consumes 1 supply

Warrior

Damage from warriors is increased by 1 point, and incoming damage is reduced by 25%. Below are the perks specific to this specialization:

  • Warrior Level 1
    • Close Combat Master - Close combat damage increases by 2 points.
    • Sniper - Ranged combat damage increases by 2 points.
      • This crewmate must be in the Medbay.
  • Warrior Level 2
    • Martial Artist - Close combat damage increases by 10%.
      • Must have chosen Close Combat Master as the first perk.
    • Crusher - Damage to doors and systems increases by 5 points.
      • Must have chosen Close Combat Master as the first perk.
  • Warrior Level 3
    • Blasting Charge - Plants a bomb in the room they are in. The bomb will explode after 3 seconds and deal 30 damage to enemy units, doors, and ship systems in that room.
    • Flashbang - Enemy units in the same room are stunned.

All Human perks

Humans start with 100 health and are the most average of the races. They can specialize in anything without being the best at it. They consume two supplies every day and are the most common race in the game.

Starting Stats

  • Max Health: 100
  • Close Combat: 3
  • Ranged Combat: 4
  • Demolition: 1
  • Speed: 2
  • Repairs: 1
  • Supplies per day: 2
  • Oxygen needed a second: 25 

Race perks

  • Lucky - Avoids taking any damage with a probability of 50%.
  • At the double! - Instantly recharges the active skills of all friendly units on the ship the captain is on.
    • Consumes 10 supplies.
  • Impassioned Speech - Instantly boosts the morale of all friendly units on the ship by 0.5.
    • Consumes five supplies.

All Taertikon perks and specializations

Taertikons are AI Cubes. They have 50 health and can work regular jobs well. These are the best at being Weapon, Shield, and Hyperdrive Operators. In addition, they don't consume any supplies or require oxygen to breathe. The only downside is that they can't fight and can be easily killed because they have a low health level. They cannot be warriors.

  • Close Combat: 0
  • Ranged Combat: 0
  • Demolition: 0
  • Speed: 2
  • Repairs: 1.5
  • Supplies per day: 0
  • Oxygen needed a second: 0 

Race perks

  • Nano-Machines - This crewmate can cure its own wounds with the help of nano-machines that are produced in its own body.

All Rakkhi perks and specializations

These bug like aliens are the best warriors you can find. When teleported to an enemy ship, they can kill the crew and are quite menacing. The only downside of this species is that they aren't good for anything else. They go through three supplies a day and can't repair their equipment. The only time you should have a warrior is if you have the space. They cannot be engineers.

Starting Stats

  • Max Health: 125
  • Close Combat: 6
  • Ranged Combat: 3
  • Demolition: 1
  • Speed: 2
  • Repairs: 0.5
  • Supplies per day: 3
  • Oxygen needed a second: 25

Race perks

  • Chitin Armor - Incoming damage is reduced by 30%.
  • Sharpened Claws - Close combat damage increases by one point and has a 50% chance of causing Bleeding to the enemy.
  • Bloodsucker - Restores health equal to 30% of the damage dealt in close combat.

All Etari perks and specializations

This is the best unit in the game. Despite having only 80 health, these aliens can repair as fast as humans, but they were made for space. Since they need less oxygen and only consume one supply a day, they can die from a leak more slowly.

This race has no unique perks.
