To cut the story short, the only difference between the three platforms in terms of performance and visuals are resolution and load times. Here's a more concise breakdown of each platform's differences:

Performance and Visual AspectsNintendo SwitchPS5 and Xbox Series X/S
Resolution720P - 1080P4K
FPS60 FPS during battles60 FPS during battles
Load TimesFastSlightly Faster than the Nintendo Switch but not groundbreaking.

Given that all three perform about the same, you may still be confused about which platform you should purchase the game on. Since I've played the game for roughly about 12 hours in a single day on the PS5, I'd rather play it on the Nintendo Switch.

Vanillaware structured the game so that short and quick playthroughs are enough to keep the players from getting burnt out and to keep them wanting more when they play again. This type of game is perfect for the Nintendo Switch, and I can bet that the game looks better on the OLED model.

The Nintendo Switch version also appears to have the same Texture Quality as the higher-end consoles. Textures look crisp and clean, likely due to the higher P.P.I. (i.e. pixels-per-inch) of the portable console.
