To find Clive the Firestarter in V Rising, you must search the Bandit Sulphur Quarry. But before fighting Clive, make sure you are at least level 30 or above because if you are under level, you will have a hard time fighting Clive. That said, you can raise your Gear Level by making better armor, weapons, and accessories. We recommend making the following to increase your level above 30 in V Rising.

• Complete set of Nightstalker armor: 6 Leather and 4 Coarse Thread per armor piece
• Copper Weapons: 16 Copper Ingots and 12 Planks apiece
• Gravedigger Ring: 8 Grave Dust and 40 Mourning Lily

How to Beat Clive the Firestarter in V Rising

Beating Clive the Firestarter is not hard in V Rising. You mainly need to watch out for strong AOE attacks, which are relatively common with most bosses in the game. Clive's AOE attacks are slightly different as they have a far wider range. Because of this, you will want to save your Veil of Blood or similar abilities for getting out of the way fast.

You will also want to focus on using ranged attacks and possibly making a Crossbow, as Clive seems to drop bomb attacks more often if you are close to him. Clearing the area around you of other enemies is also recommended as it will be harder to focus on Clive when getting swarmed by bandits. 

What does Clive the Firestarter unlock in V Rising?

Clive the Firestarter will unlock the Alchemy Table upon death and crafting recipes for Sulphur and Explosives in V Rising. Players can use Explosives to raid other players' castles and blow up large resource veins.
