Monster Memo is a series of quests that starts by finding notes left by various monsters across the map. Battle the horde of monsters on the desert area two tiles north of Castle Advent to receive Monster Memo #1.
How to solve Monster Memo #1
The Monster Memo #1 card contains a message that players can read by reversing each word in every line: STOLEN TREASURE CAVE AND MOUNTAIN PAST, NEAR FOUNTAIN. It's a clue of where to find said treasure.
- Start your journey from Thriceton.
- Move northwest toward the opening into the mountain range.
- Walk southwest through the forest until you find a water fountain.
The treasure is located four tiles to the left of Western Cave or on the fountain's top-left tile.

You find a large number of monster prints on the ground and follow them. The hero remembers the scrap of paper he picked up and deems that it tells no lies.
