Will my choices affect the ending I get in Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars?

Do choices matter?

Voice of Cards is a digital version of your typical Dungeons and Dragons game, from the way battles occur to how the story is told. This means that you're constantly accosted by choices. Some choices you need to make look way more story-affecting than others, so you may be wondering if you're unintentionally leading your party to its doom.

How much do your choices matter in Voice of Cards?

The simple answer is not at all.

Regardless if they're harmless options like who should help the poor woman in Nexton or "heavier" ones like should you kill the dragon or not, every outcome is fixed. The only thing that changes is the story's dialogue, which, while neat, won't affect your chances of a happy ending.

If you want to get the best (and true) ending, you need to collect all 10 Mysterious Cards throughout the game.

So, feel free to be rude to NPCs when you're given the option to or even get into long arguments with Melanie. Your party will still grow close, the hero will still turn into a fine character, and evil will still be defeated.
