To improve your ship in Wartales Pirates of Belrerion, click the Ship icon (see above) to open your Ship’s Equipment window. On the right, you’ll see your current ship’s equipment highlighted in a bright white box. Anything else you’ve learned blueprints for (read below) will be available here in greyed-out boxes. There aren't any new specializations required but you will need to use the Apothecary, workshop, and Tinker table for recipes.

While in a Shipyard or dock, left-click on a piece of equipment to reveal the required ingredients. If you have what you need, click OK to continue. That’s it, your boat has been improved! Find more blueprints to keep improving your vessel. This works the same for upgrades.

You can find Builder’s Blueprints in a variety of locations and use them to upgrade any of your ship’s current components. These are not like the usual blueprints that you’ll need to make new components. You can find Builder’s Blueprints through the following ways:

  • As quest rewards
  • In loot chests

Once you have a Builder’s Blueprint, open your Compendium on the Sailing tab. Any improved recipe available to you will be highlighted. Select the one you want and it will use up the Blueprint, without you using any Knowledge.

How to repair your ship in Wartales

On the same Ship menu as above, look below your Durability Guage on the left. If you hover over the Repair button, it will tell you how many Planks are required to repair your ship. Planks can be made with Wood and Waterproof Sealant (for the recipes, see below).
