If you want to stay alive in Winter Survival for a long time, you must continuously resolve all the problems associated with your character. So, here is a list of all the symptoms your player may face in Winter Survival and how to deal with them.

Below, you can find every type of symptom a character may face during the game and methods to resolve them.

Thirsty

  •  Effect: Your character will start losing health if you are thirsty.
  • Solution: Drink water from any nearby water stream to clench your thirst.

Hungry

  •  Effect: Your character will start losing health if you are hungry.
  • Solution: Prepare food or consume fruits/vegetables to satisfy your hunger.

Sleepy

  •  Effect: Your character will start losing health if you are sleepy.
  • Solution: Go to your house and sleep for seven or more hours to remove the icon.

Stench

  •  Effect: If your character smells, all the animals near your vicinity will be able to track you down much faster.
  • Solution: You can resolve the Stench problem by taking a bath. Go to any water body near your base and interact with it to take a bath.

Fatigue

  • Effect: Your character will start moving very slowly once you get fatigued.
  • Solution: Fix the Fatigue issue by staying still until the Stamina bar restores completely.

Sprained Ankle

  • Effect: If you have a Sprained Ankle, your character can no longer sprint and will receive damage each time you jump or climb.
  • Solution: Craft and use items like First Aid, Herbal Ointments, or Leg Stabilizers. 

Wet

  • Effect: Staying Wet will make your character take more damage from the cold.
  • Solution: Dry your clothes using a Drying Line.

Dread

  • Effect: Your character's overall Trauma value will increase if you feel threatened by predators.
  • Solution: Stay away from predators like wolves or bears near your vicinity.

Unease

  • Effect: If you feel uneasy and disturbed, your overall Trauma will scale by a small amount.
  • Solution: Stay away from the dark and return home. Also, light up your home.

Home Sickness

  • Effect: Similar to Dread and Unease, your character Trauma value will increase.
  • Solution: There is no fix!

Cabin Fever

  • Problem: Your character will increase thirst and hunger value.
  • Solution: Stay away from the cabin until the icon wears off.

Cabin Fever

  • Effect: Your character will have an increased thirst and hunger value.
  • Solution: Stay away from the cabin until the icon wears off.

Fear of the Graves

  • Effect: You will feel Traumatized after seeing a grave.
  • Solution: Putting flowers on the grave will reduce your fear!

Fever

  • Effect: If you stay in cold weather for an extended period, you will have decreased cold protection and increased thirst value.
  • Solution: Consume some Aspirin and Sleep for more than 10 hours for the fever to wear off.

Core Coldness

  • Effect: If you get Core Coldness, you will have reduced Cold Protection.
  • Solution: Stop eating snow and don't go out without wearing clothes.
