How to get the Azure Skitterfly mount in World of Warcraft Dragonflight

Mounts in World of Warcraft fall under certain categories. Sure, there are ground mounts, flying mounts, and dragonriding mounts, but more specifically, there are different types. Think of it like the Pokémon with fire-types, grass-types, and bug-types. WoW, and its Dragonflight expansion has no shortage of bug-type mounts. One that's captured the hearts and minds of "trainers" early on is the Azure Skittlerfly mount.

How to get the blue dragonfly mount in WoW Dragonflight

The Azure Skitterfly mount is a Renown 25 reward with the Dragonscale Expedition. It is sold by Granpap Whiskers at the Dragonscale Basecamp in The Waking Shores for 20 Contoured Fowlfeather, five Iridescent Plume, and 750 Dragon Isles Supplies. It is available alongside the Tamed Skitterfly, also sold by Granpap Whiskers.

Reaching Renown 25 with the Dragonscale Expedition unlocks the Skitterfly Riding "skill." It's not really a true riding skill like Coldweather Flying. Rather, it serves as the barrier to entry for the mounts themselves. Players are able to purchase either or both skitterfly mounts upon reaching Renown 25. They're an interesting design and break up the overwhelming offerings of ground mounts in the Dragonflight expansion.
